This is a little sushi place in the middle of a mall. It wasn't the big restaurant I was expecting from the photos. It does have sushi on a conveyor belt, but the variety was limited and the sushi was just ok. On the Sunday afternoon we were there, the rice was dry, and the fish was a bit old. It costs more than you'd expect, because it's hard to keep track of how much the sushi costs based on your colored plates. I thought the sushi making lady was nice because she was willing to give my 3-year old child plain balls of sushi rice without fish or anything on top, which is the only thing she was willing to eat.
Other than that service was not so good. They forgot our drink orders and asked if we could get out of there by 5:30, even though their website says they are open until 6. When I pointed this out they said that they still had to clean up, and be out of the mall by 6 because that's when the mall closes and otherwise they'll be locked in, but that's not true. The mall does stay open after 6, so it looks like they just wanted to get out of there early, which is typical for Dutch customer service.
Most of the people who we saw come in the restaurant were there to pick up food, and they had a lot of foodora posters around, so I guess most of their business is take out and delivery. It's a shame, because normally sushi conveyor belt places are fun, but this one was not. read more
