However, they did have two types of soy sauce for sashimi. They had the traditional Kikkoman soy sauce which is often used for sushi and sashimi and then they had the Shibanuma soy, which was ever so slightly thicker and sweeter IMO. The Shibanuma is meant intentionally to be tasted with sushi and sashimi, not to be cooked with as the server mentioned. It was tasty, most defintely. Honorable mentions were the mongolian beef stew, which came piping hot and delicious. Picture does not do the dish justice. Meat was fall apart tender, full of spice and flavor. Probably best paired with a neutral side, like white rice but we got stir fried udon noodles instead. Udon noodles were delicious as well. Simple yet well made.
