Our server Danny was amazing! They put the sushi on the boat for us because we mentioned wanting one for a picture. The room they put us in was very cute with a neon sign.

The food here was good. Not great and not bad, just good. I can't say that it left me wanting to come back. It was just very average. The inside of the restaurant however is beautiful and the ambiance was very chill. They did however let a guest have their dog out of the carrier which seems quite unsanitary. The small dog stayed at the table but still (it clearly wasn't a working dog). We all had some kind of food left over, but no one took it to go. This restaurant wasn't good enough for me to want to return without it being a social invite

This is a great sushi bar with a cool atmosphere. I said at the bar and the bartender gave great service and was very attentive. The sushi was fresh with ample portions. Definitely a spot I will go back to.

Loved it! Courteous service, very helpful. My food was good. Menu is vast, provides sushi and hot cooked dishes. I stopped in for a late lunch on a relaxing Saturday. It wasn't too busy. Will be back to try dinner.

Sushi Sake Tampa 203 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL A nice new restaurant in South Tampa worth checking out. I had the pleasure of visiting this place and enjoyed the atmosphere. What I had: 1) Beef Tataki - lightly Seared meat served with Ponzu Sauce and Scallions- Delicious 2) Pineapple Special Fried Rice- served in a half pineapple - worth eating and sharing with plus Instagramable 3)Banana Tempura Ice Cream- uff! This dessert just blew my mind of how sweet and delicious this was. 4) Blueberries Mojito- Very good cocktail drink 5) Expresso Martini- a happy drink to make you go woo hoo! Thank you to my hostess Irene and the Staff for being a great host on my visit. Follow their Instagram Platform for updates on their menu options and specials.

Nigiri that looks very poorly made
    Andrew S.

I have really struggled with what to rate Sushi Sake as part of it was great and part of it was horrific. If we call this place a bar that happens to serve sushi, it gets 4 stars. But if this is a sushi place with a great bar, then it is 2 stars. The good: the decor is wonderful, and the atmosphere is top notch. The service is on point (they are still learning, but that is expected) and the drinks were great. The bad: the sushi was a complete joke. Our nigiri looked like it was cut and assembled by somebody that has never served sushi. Normally that wouldn't matter, but their prices are well above normal. $5 - $7 for one piece of nigiri, whereas other sushi places will give you two, demands that the fish is top quality and the presentation is perfect. Unfortunately neither happened. The nigiri fish looked like a kid butchered it, it wasn't really fresh and the rice was terrible. Their sushi dinner, for $45 gives you 15 pieces of nigiri. One generally does not get three pieces of shrimp, tuna, salmon, escolar and one more type of bland fish for one of their most expensive dishes, but that is what came out. The ceviche was good, but again, the fish was cut to much different lengths and thickness, which was a shame. Again, the staff was very friendly, and had we just came for drinks, we would have been happy. The margarita was great, and their version of sangria was also great. Sadly. The sushi was a complete miss. Hopefully they fix these issues as the foundation is there to build upon.

Happy hour from 3-6 with $10 espresso martinis & other good deals. Lots of appetizers on happy hour as well; we ordered the shrimp shumai, edamame, and a dragon roll to split. Decor was beautiful and space was very clean. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. There is also a cute private room for any birthdays or events!

    HIBACHI CHICKEN

Honestly garbage. This was the chicken hibachi dinner. It took forever to get the food. The rolls LOOKED good but tasted horrible. The guy working the front host stand was nice though.

    Sunomono without sauce

We made a Lunch stop on Friday 10/24 around 1:30pm, have been here about 3 times and always looked forward to my return. On this particular visit Joshua the manager was not present, we walked in, no one was at the door, we waited, someone finally came to the front, but did not greet Us, I then said, "Hello, two Please" She then asked inside or outside dinning, we chose inside. She then took us to the table, the server came to the table and and brought us water, not asking if we wanted anything else to drink. She came to take our orders, this was lunch time and the service was really slow, seems maybe there was a lot of Door Dash orders or sometime. My Sunomono came out, by itself, yet it was dry and the vinegar, sweet sauce was very minimal, if at all. My Partners food never came to the table, as I was getting done the server came back and we expressed our dis-satisfaction with the service and the food that did come out. Seems the Sushi Chef may have been seriously overwhelmed, My partner went to the car as I paid for what I consumed, asked the server if Joshua had a card, She replied no, but he's on his way in. This was a huge disappointment after having such great prior experiences at the venue. I guess it's the consistency I am concerned about, If Joshua isn't on the property things just appear not to be up to par. Come one Sushi Saki, we are trying to support you, and want you to succeed. Please do better,.

While the meat portions were sufficient we were provided exactly 9 pieces of cheese. I was absolutely shocked at how little cheese we got for the price of this board. I immediately called the restaurant before addressing with Uber or before taking my review to Yelp because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address my concerns: I was told that a temporary manager was at the restaurant and that he would take my information and have the store manager contact me the next day. No one called. We order charcuterie a lot. And while I will say the cheeses on this board were unique and delicious; if these were the actual portions-it is incredibly overpriced. And if these weren't the actual portions-then it's incredibly disappointing that they dismissed our concerns entirely.

The second round of drinks too too long and he again delivered the drinks w another apology. Jim was attentive and professional. We had ordered two appetizers to share , and were finishing when she came over. We were on the outside patio , our Chihuahuas were contained in their carriers, and the only time one of them barked was when the waiter came by. We were there early at 11:30. For 15 minutes we were the only ones out there , then this elderly couple came and when they walked by us the elderly woman gave us a dirty look. Five minutes later another couple sat but further away from us. That woman seemed to be the only one with a problem. I should have asked the manager that if someone had complained about a screaming child( which usually is constant) would they have been asked to leave? I really like the food , and the service but we are contemplating whether to go there again because frankly we felt insulted! We only brought the dogs to begin with because my daughter is going on a trip and she is leaving the dogs with us. So we were exchanging them, and thought we would have lunch. The manager and the elderly couple ruined the experience for us. The manager told us that pets were not permitted but I checked in two different places , and pets are permitted on their patio. I feel they should either change their policy , or inform the manager as to what the policy is because she told us that pets were not allowed! Next time we will meet somewhere in St. Petersburg because that city is very pet friendly!

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. The food here is so delicious, just like my time spent in Korea. Innovative dishes like Truffle Jajangttoek, my favorite so far. Korean owned and operated, the owners also own a few of these amazing food pairing wine bars in Korea, and the chef has also lived and culinary trained in France. They have their hand on the pulse of what is popular in Korea as well as the US. We are so lucky to have this establishment! You won't find anywhere else like this in Tampa Bay. I'm definitely coming back for dessert and to try more! The Migak sommelier is here to help you choose wines that will pair perfectly with the plates that you order. A must-try. 3 Chicken Skewers - The plump, glossy bites of heaven are dark meat, fatty, glazed and tender. The tangy and slightly spicy sauce matches well with the fatty meat. Paired with Reisling. 4 명태전 Pollack Joen - Fried egg washed fritters, served with a side salad. A very popular dish in Korea. Sometimes whole restaurants just serve various joen as their main menu. As the only Asian food specialist that has written about specifically Korean cuisine and visted Korea multiple times, can speak, read, and write in Hangul --- Migak is my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay hands down. I'll start with the good stuff. The space inside Bouzy's front dining area and bar is gorgeous. It's not large, but it has very high ceilings, which add to the sense of space, and the modern decor, especially the bubble-inspired lighting, all add up to a bright and vibrant atmosphere. I can easily imagine it looks even more polished and stylish at night. Also, our food was excellent. We got the Florentine Benedict and the Shrimp & Grits -- both were beautifully plated and delicious. Also, if you're feeling snacky before brunch, try the Marinated Olives. It's easily a snack for two -- we even ended up taking some home! I did mention a few minor hiccups at the start. The bottle of Cava Reserva we ordered was not kept chilled, so we had to wait a little for it to come out and we did worry for a moment that we wouldn't get it before our entrees arrived. Also, our server, while very friendly and sweet, was a little uneven in terms of how often she came over to check on us. At the start, she seemed a little scattered, but later on she found her groove and came over to us more often to see what we needed. As I said, minor hiccups, and certainly nothing that would discourage us from another visit the next time we cross the bay and visit Hyde Park.
