In the heart of Tampa, right off the interstate. There is plenty of parking and this location has a patio which is pet friendly. The service is pretty good and the food is above average for a sushi restaurant. The prices are fair to also average. My wife had the spicy tuna roll and she added avocado. And she gave it a strong 8. While I had the spider roll and shrimp tempura and the shrimp tempura was one of the best I've had. The spider roll was good but I was thinking about getting another shrimp tempura. This is a place we shall return to and that we definitely recommend read more

Honestly, this was just average. I ate it because I was super hungry, but would I order it again? Absolutely not. It wasn't disgusting like some people have mentioned, but it definitely wasn't anything special either. Just very mid and forgettable. I wouldn't go out of my way to get Sushi Saki again. read more

This place has a wonderful ambiance and I especially love the section with "floor level" seats! They are very kid friendly and have great coloring books for them and a menu with options. So why 3 stars? Because the food was not at a level or value that we'd come back for. The sushi was average, the hibachi chicken was a very small portion of chicken for the money, and the kids meals were approx $13 each which seems a bit high for a kids meal. The service was nice and accommodating. The music is fun and upbeat. read more

Sushi Sake has amazing service from the staff and a beautiful ambiance. Went here on a date and these two factors alone make me want to come back. I'd also want to come back to try more items as I'm not sure I ordered the right things... I liked my miso soup but I ordered two sushi rolls and the size plus fish/rice ratio could've been better. The cheesecake was good but frozen in the middle I'm thinking their brownie or tempura banana might be a better bet for next time. read more

The food here was good. Not great and not bad, just good. I can't say that it left me wanting to come back. It was just very average. The inside of the restaurant however is beautiful and the ambiance was very chill. They did however let a guest have their dog out of the carrier which seems quite unsanitary. The small dog stayed at the table but still (it clearly wasn't a working dog). We all had some kind of food left over, but no one took it to go. This restaurant wasn't good enough for me to want to return without it being a social invite read more

Everything I've tried has been delicious, from the sushi rolls to the appetizers, and the service is always great. The combination of amazing sushi with that Latin flavor and energy keeps me coming back every time. I have really struggled with what to rate Sushi Sake as part of it was great and part of it was horrific. If we call this place a bar that happens to serve sushi, it gets 4 stars. But if this is a sushi place with a great bar, then it is 2 stars. The good: the decor is wonderful, and the atmosphere is top notch. The service is on point (they are still learning, but that is expected) and the drinks were great. The bad: the sushi was a complete joke. Our nigiri looked like it was cut and assembled by somebody that has never served sushi. Normally that wouldn't matter, but their prices are well above normal. $5 - $7 for one piece of nigiri, whereas other sushi places will give you two, demands that the fish is top quality and the presentation is perfect. Unfortunately neither happened. The nigiri fish looked like a kid butchered it, it wasn't really fresh and the rice was terrible. Their sushi dinner, for $45 gives you 15 pieces of nigiri. One generally does not get three pieces of shrimp, tuna, salmon, escolar and one more type of bland fish for one of their most expensive dishes, but that is what came out. The ceviche was good, but again, the fish was cut to much different lengths and thickness, which was a shame. Again, the staff was very friendly, and had we just came for drinks, we would have been happy. The margarita was great, and their version of sangria was also great. Sadly. The sushi was a complete miss. Hopefully they fix these issues as the foundation is there to build upon. read more

Friendly staff. Love their mid day specials. Like a 50% savings. Fried rice is amazing

Happy hour from 3-6 with $10 espresso martinis & other good deals. Lots of appetizers on happy hour as well; we ordered the shrimp shumai, edamame, and a dragon roll to split. Decor was beautiful and space was very clean. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. There is also a cute private room for any birthdays or events! read more

Disappointed and not satisfied. Crispy rice was soft and greasy, tea was not available, sushi has too much rice, and the rice is clearly not fresh! I'd never come back here. Server was nice. But food was not good. And it was $120 for lunch for 3 people lol read more

I stopped in to Sushi Sake for the first time yesterday with my best friend. I ordered miso soup and an assortment of sushi with crab & eel, and some amazing fried shrimp dumplings. I was very pleased with the attentive and friendly service provided by our waiter, Irene. She made us feel welcome and answered any questions we had. The ambiance was very laid back, clean, and sophisticated. Will be back soon! read more

Went here for the first time tonight. Service was great, atmosphere was great. The place is clean & love the outside seating. Food was good but small portions & very pricey. The assembly of the sushi wasn't done very well. The hand roll barely had anything in it. Every other sushi place has it stuffed. The happy hour sushi doesn't offer any raw sushi, mostly cream cheese in them. They're mostly California rolls with cream cheese & dressed up. The other happy hour items like the dumplings were good. One of the apps, shrimp with teriyaki sauce was incredibly salty & my teens agreed. I really wanted to love this place as we go out for sushi on a regular basis but for those prices we expected more. I'll stick with the usual places we frequent. Best of luck to this new place, I hope they do well. read more

We made a Lunch stop on Friday 10/24 around 1:30pm, have been here about 3 times and always looked forward to my return. On this particular visit Joshua the manager was not present, we walked in, no one was at the door, we waited, someone finally came to the front, but did not greet Us, I then said, "Hello, two Please" She then asked inside or outside dinning, we chose inside. She then took us to the table, the server came to the table and and brought us water, not asking if we wanted anything else to drink. She came to take our orders, this was lunch time and the service was really slow, seems maybe there was a lot of Door Dash orders or sometime. My Sunomono came out, by itself, yet it was dry and the vinegar, sweet sauce was very minimal, if at all. My Partners food never came to the table, as I was getting done the server came back and we expressed our dis-satisfaction with the service and the food that did come out. Seems the Sushi Chef may have been seriously overwhelmed, My partner went to the car as I paid for what I consumed, asked the server if Joshua had a card, She replied no, but he's on his way in. This was a huge disappointment after having such great prior experiences at the venue. I guess it's the consistency I am concerned about, If Joshua isn't on the property things just appear not to be up to par. Come one Sushi Saki, we are trying to support you, and want you to succeed. Please do better,. read more

Service was great and our server was super nice but unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing. I ordered a spicy crunchy tuna roll and the crunchy part was so soggy that you couldn't even notice it. One of the other rolls was very bland. Tried to get some eel sauce but this tasted like honey instead of eel sauce. They kept saying a lot of the food or ingredients were made in house but most of it left us disappointed. read more

I am absolutely never going back to this restaurant. The only reason it gets two stars is because the staff was lovey and nice the entire time. I ordered takeout and got the hibachi steak with fried rice for an absurd $32. I was expecting a decent sized portion, but was very upset when I opened the box to see a TOTAL of 7 pieces of steak with the main basin being 70% mushrooms, undercooked & bland veggies and the most tasteless fried rice ever. Maybe it's better in the restaurant, but this food was not worth $32 read more

Danny is a great and knowledgeable server. Had great recommendations and the ambiance is amazing. Never too busy and food always fresh.

Interesting that it's called "sushi sake" because apparently the only bottle of sake they had according to the server was a bottle of sake we were informed was $19. When we got the bill it was $90. read more

The restaurant is gorgeous, with several instagramable walls of cute neon sign, romantic lighting, and cozy nooks. The food is exceptional, large portion, and well price. The signature Ceviche Roll was had a nice crunch and was bursting with citrus flavor. The pineapple fried rice is beautifully presented in a whole pineapple and the savory sauces only enhance the high quality meats and veggies. The service was friendly and attentive- great suggestions on what to order including the yummy and fun cocktail. This is a great place for a date night or a big family dinner or a girls night out with your BFFs. read more

Food took a very very long time, portions were comically small (sushi excluded), however it tasted good and the ambiance was nice.

Hungry after shopping we decided on Sushi and found this restaurant nearby and open for lunch. Diego M. Was our waiter he was very attentive and gave great recommendations for our first experience. The food was so good we forgot to take photos of the first two dishes that arrived. The restaurant is very inviting clean and welcoming. read more

I eat sushi at least once a week. Only positive thing I can say is the atmosphere was nice....it was the absolute worst sushi I've had in years! Wahoo tatake was terrible - couldn't finish. Got food to go a couple of days ago ($110) not cheap, but the food was (cheep that is!) Out of 3 maki rolls only one was good. The CHICKEN TERIYAKI was awful, aside from being cold it looked like left over chicken giblets with a scope of rice. The Shrimp Tempura was horrible 5 TINY deep fried shrimp. This is one place to avoid! read more
