Wish i took a picture of my food but i literally devoured it haha! I've never been to this place but was recommended by many people saying that it's amazing. I was a little skeptical about it at first but was super impressed. Food: I got the green dragon and the calamari roll. They were pretty big and tasted great! They add some seasoning on top of the roll that gives it a unique taste, I'm not quite sure what it is, but it definitely is different from other sushi restaurants in a good way! The ingredients taste fresh Service it's owned by a family that solely does takeouts and I'm glad to see it thriving. Only reason i would give it a 4 star is because i tried to order a couple of times before and they didn't pick up their phone so i couldn't order takeout from them. I think as a takeout restaurant, it's pretty important to pick up their phone but i understand it could be very busy. Also order ahead as it could take 2.5 hr to pick up your food. My order took around 2.5 hr and they told me to wait an extra 15 minutes when i had arrived. Other than that it's a good place. Overall: Great food, overall, i would recommend this place for unique sushi that is reasonably priced and unique. Just remember to order ahead as it could be a long wait. I would rate it 8/10, and to keep calling if they don't pick up!

Very delicious! The price is lower than other places. I order a bunch of their specialty rolls, and they were all really fresh and delicious. The calamari roll and the baked salmon roll were very unique. Really recommend you order. This place is takeout only even outside of covid. There is no dine-in space. Please take note that it will take a while. I waited for about 1.5 hours on a saturday afternoon. I didn't mind waiting, and they let you know how long it'll take before you place the order.

On my first attempt, I came by on a Monday evening to learn that they're not open. Fast forward a week later.. Here I am writing a review :) Went to the shop, it's a small place with limited seating. Ordered the Kamikaze and Dynamite sushi combo (with soup and salad) and the yam/squash tempura roll. It was more than I could eat! Rice to filling ratio is good. Rolls are packed tight, using fresh fish/ingredients. Out of the three rolls, spicy salmon (kamikaze) and yam were the best. Owners accommodated my request for extra ginger at no additional cost too.

Front - NOTE - takeout ONLY

Great sushi. Take out ONLY. Loved the caterpillar roll. Worth a try, good sushi and good prices.

Honestly, the best sushi Ive had in a long time. Service was quick. I have known the owner for a long time, but never actually made it to the spot. Big Fan, will def visit again.

What! I've found my favourite sushi take-out spot in Mississauga. Hands down. Based on all the Yelp reviews, we called in on a Friday evening to order for pick-up - we weren't too hungry and just wanted to sample a small batch of their sushi first (you know, before going all out and gorging on a huge order of takeout sushi that may or may not be that great). So we ordered two rolls to try since we were in the area - the Spicy Salmon Roll and the Vegetable Tempura Roll (8 pieces under $6.00). Service was sweet, helpful, friendly. Our order was ready and waiting when we arrived - when they say 10 minutes, they mean it. The sushi itself was so delicious - I definitely recommend the Spicy Salmon roll. Great textures, very fresh, wonderful flavours (I love the crunch and hints of sesame throughout the roll). Like others have mentioned, note that seating is super limited (like 5 stools) - so unless you're a couple or eating in alone, it's probably best to order take-out. Also note that there's ample parking, as it's located in a large plaza (beside the new Terra Foodmart just east of Dundas and Winston Churchill). For two rolls, we paid around $11.00. We will definitely be back to try out the rest of their menu.

Traveling in Mississauga, went to Sushi Park upon yelp recommendation. This is definitely far from the best sushi I've ever had. Tuna is not of the best quality, there're tendons that are chewy; scallops are frozen with watery taste; salmon is farmed quality salmon. Over all it was a fair meal, if you're just craving sushi, thus the 3 star.

My half eaten Dynamite shushi, 8 pcs all togther for under 7 bucks

The restaurant is of decent size, with some dine-in seating (about five tables for four and two tables for two). Seating is similar to the tables and chairs you'd find in a mall food court but I appreciate that it was pretty spacious between tables and didn't feel crowded. My family and I went around 6:30 pm and we were the only table dining in but there were about 3-4 takeout/Uber pickups while we were there. Service was friendly. We immediately got offered menus and green tea, where they came multiple times during our stay to refill. We ordered: 60 pcs assorted sushi and roll platter ($49.99), Philadelphia roll ($4.99), and spicy salmon roll ($5.99). Overall, very affordable, especially with the grand opening promotion. My family and I were stuffed and in agreement that we could have done with just the 60 pcs platter amongst the four of us. The quality was good, not above and beyond, but the ratio of filling-to-rice was quite good and rice was made well (not too wet and not too dry, meaning all sushi and rolls held their shape when handled). Freshness was there as well. The Philadelphia roll was really well made in terms of the ratio of all their fillings; but I felt the spicy salmon was lacking some spicy mayo for that heat. I'd have to say my favorites were the unakyu (sushi version with unagi), the yam roll (crunchy and had a delicious sweet sauce), and the Philadelphia roll. They were also decently generous with ginger and wasabi. Oh, almost forgot to mention that they start you with miso soup which is included with the meal. It didn't taste the most authentic and could have been more flavorful but I appreciated that it came out piping hot and had a good amount of seaweed and mini tofu inside. Washrooms were spacious and of average cleanliness. No automatic taps or paper towel dispensers though. The restaurant itself was kept clean and tidy. Their wall art is also really cute and fitting for the place. Tons of free parking in the plaza.

The quality of the food was next level. We even tried the plain meat without any seasoning, and it was still packed with flavor. That says a lot! And the restaurant itself? Absolutely beautiful. If you want to cook your own foods via grill, yakiniku, don't mind the crowds, max seating of four per booth, enter the door on your left for Takumi BBQ. If you prefer ramen, no smoke or cooking, open concept, enter the door to the right and around the corner for Takumi Ramen. Both restaurants offer different menu selections. Not allowed to ask for menu items next door because my cousins tried asking in the past and kindly inquired again out of curiosity. We're happy that we choose Takumi Ramen! We're surprised to be the only party of eight dining in for two hours till COB. There's ample seating to join middle tables together. We're able to immerse ourselves in conversations. I ordered the Mini Sukiyaki Combo. I loved their Mini Sukiyaki where you allow all the ingredients to cook for a few minutes, crack egg into the pot, able to control your own temperature settings on your own butane with propane grill. Salad and gyoza were tasty. Majority of my relatives ordered various ramen and/or apps. There was only one employee working, who was attentive, brought beverage and napkin refills, checked to see how we're doing and if there's anything else we needed. Smaller menu selection. Wouldn't mind returning for the quality.
