The ordering was slow, and despite writing our order out in the Notes to avoid any confusion, dishes still arrived wrong. It took a lengthy conversation with our server before she even understood what had been sent out incorrectly -- time we simply didn't have. We raised the issue and noticed them we wouldn't be able to finish in time given their mistakes. Their response? After 1h 15min, staff swooped in to clear plates -- while one of our friends was still eating. And they still charge a service fee for this? The food is the one saving grace, but the management is chaotic and the attitude toward customers is unacceptable.

Fresh, juicy, full of flavour, and its not just sushi that they do, they also do various hot dishes, cold dishes, noodles, bento, you name it they have it! The menu is pretty vast, upon arrival you are welcomed with a pot of green tea and miso, goes down really well. We got the futomaki dragon roll: king prawn, avocado, pickled cucumber, unagi sauce and topped off with fish eggs, you get 8 pieces on a plate for about £11, really good dish to share. Also got the spicy edamame, ebi fry and we each got a bento box. I went for the veggie tofu option and my friend for the chicken katsu. Bento boxes are about £6-9 and you get a lot of variety such as salad, sticky rice with beansprouts, the meat or the tofu and tempura vegetables, also comes with a sauce or sesame oil. If there is a group, works out cheaper, as it was just me and my friend it was £30 each with the addition of green tea, which isn't actually bad. The service is good, we went on a Tuesday afternoon, peak time during lunch hour rush and actually the waitresses did really well. Looking forward to going back and trying out the rest of the menu.

The menu is extensive and a little overwhelming as there's a lot of stuff that sounds good. The actual decor of the place is pretty simple but perfectly pleasant. You can also eat at the bar if you want to watch the sushi being prepared. We had tuna sushi roll with jalapenos which I really enjoyed. They were generous with the amount of fish too. For main I had salmon teriyaki which again was a huge portion slathered in teriyaki sauce. I did enjoy this but it was a tad salty for my liking. It doesn't get 5 stars because it seems a little pricey for sushi - especially in Willesden - but I did enjoy it and would go back to try some of other sushi dishes.

We could leave the restaurant or even ask for another food with a better taste and smell but instead we tried to solve the problem by kindly asking them to bring us some parsley to add into our food to not feeling the bad smell and taste. We just wanted to be good with them. But after around 5 minutes discussion in the kitchen they came out with a pinch of parsley (not even exaggerating) and when I asked them for more parsley at least 2 pinch they said we don't give this service. They really don't know how to behave with costumer specially when they are trying to be good with you. In order not to harm their business by returning the food, we wanted to solve the problem with parsley, but they really didn't deserve it, while Sainsbury's is right in front of their restaurant and the price of a bag of parsley is only around 69 pence. Let's not forget that we got diarrhea and the bad smell of the food was because of its corruption.

The prices are reasonable. It's spacious. Service is wonderful. And most importantly the food is just great!!! I mean wholesome - great portions and Japanese food as you would want it. I have probably taken everyone I know here now, and the staff all recognise me - I want to give a big shout out to the Chinese lady in the pink kimono and black framed glasses who has the biggest smile - and the Chinese maths student from Bristol. Those two are great and always recognise me when I come in. I appreciate the reception. The other staff are awesome too. So for anyone new to Eat, they present you with a massive menu - I mean it could be the size of someone's thesis, so you have to carefully go through the menu and pick what you like. The bento boxes are great choices - great value for good food, I tend to get the £9 chicken Teri and salmon bento. But then there is so much more- the gyoza is awesome, the agadashi tofu - delish and my all time favourite (for all those aubergine lovers a must have) the nasu dengaku. Those are merely scratching the surface of the menu. The black cod is also to die for. There is so much more - it's just endless joy. Also note: This is Eat Tokyo that does Shabu Shabu. Yelp you need to remove Shabu Shabu from the title because it's just another Eat Tokyo in London like the rest of them. The only difference is that they do Shabu Shabu too.

We ordered a bunch of a la carte dishes (the pumpkin croquettes were delicious) along with the amazing value sashimi boat. Although the sashimi was fresh the cuts were a bit too thick and obviously weren't from grade A fish (whatever that means). Still, amazing value, especially for those with expandable stomachs.

One of the guys in our party was pulling BIG bones out of his fish pieces! Yummy!!! Wth!?! A non sushi person we brought ordered the chicken katsu, simple enough. They brought a small mountain of chicken! Yay! Except that it was half raw and black inside...that was when i decided to talk to a manager who insisted everything was fine! Haha fine to who? I showed her our napkins, FILLED with fish we had to spit out...and bones! And raw/black chicken:) I gladly paid for everything, and now we get to share our wonderful experience with the world. The waiting time was in fact not bad at all and soon we were seated. We ordered a plum wine each and we were all surprised to receive such a generously filled glass of this sweet liquor. We perused through the extensive menu and eventually all three of us settled for an order of Oyakodon (accompanied by a miso soup), which turned out to be very generous and filling portions. On the side we had ordered Edamame Beans, Age-Tofu, and a portion of what looked like a honey-glazed aubergine (the latter was especially delicious). We had also ordered two rolls, but they somehow didn't arrive and so we cancelled the order as we were stuffed anyway. The best of it all was the bill at the end: £35 for the three of us!!! Wow...this is what I call a bargain and it then totally made sense that people were queueing up like crazy: it's definitely a good value for money here!

I have gone a few times and had the sushi as well as a couple of the hot dishes. The sushi is okay though not my favourite in London. It will do for a quick meal.
