We travel about an hour to get to this establishment rather than going to one closer to us because we have always enjoyed the food and it's all you can eat. Unfortunately last night, our dining experience wasn't so great. The soya sauce tasted watered down... like horribly watery. The brand they use here is the same and only brand we buy at home. I know they re use the soya bottles and re fill them and that totally makes sense.. But to water down your soya sauce?? Really!!!? We waited about 20 mins before having any food served to us. And the rice on all of our sushi tasted over cooked. I'm so disappointed aji sai :( It breaks my heart to feel this way about you guys, and we will return again in good faith that this won't happen again. I'm giving 3 stars because you up until recently have never had any complaints from us...but If your soya sauce remains watered down thinking people won't notice, we will have to find a new sushi place as our go to. Please fix that, your guests can tell your trying to cut corners on money by serving them garbage !!!

We ordered the salmon teriyaki, beef teriyaki, gyoza, spring rolls, and tempura. Everything arrived rather cold. Right away, the tempura shrimp was a problem. It was just barely a notch above completely raw. The teriyaki dishes weren't any better; the sauce was thick and gelatinous, almost jelly-like, and really unappetizing. The salmon was cut so thin that it basically dried out just from cooking, so it ended up tough and bland instead of tender. Between the undercooked shrimp and the overall poor quality of everything else, this was an extremely disappointing and EXPENSIVE meal, and unfortunately we're now both feeling sick afterward. Really hoping the restaurant takes a hard look at food safety and quality control.
