This is a very small, fairly inexpensive neighborhood restaurant operated by the Chinese owner (hey, at least he's Asian!)
We decided to try this place based on the excellent reviews but we were disappointed. The sushi was probably slightly better than the average Chilean sushi restaurant (but that is not saying much). I am still on a quest to find an awesome, reasonably priced sushi restaurant in Chile.
Like most Chilean sushi restaurants, they want to put cream cheese on everything (blech) and are stingy with the fish. As usual, I did not order anything with cream cheese. In other Chilean sushi restaurants, the overlaid fish laminate is so thin you can read a book through it, but here it was slightly thicker (though it only covered the tops of the rolls and not the sides -- the photo taken from the top does not show this). The best tasting roll we had was one with octopus.
On the menu the restaurant claims to specialize in ramen so maybe I will return and try the ramen. read more
