ALLERGY ISSUE: Ordered take out online to try this place for the first time after a recommendation. Ordered the Shumai Yakitori, which the website said was with "A6 Wagyu Beef". I got home and took a bite only to find I took a bite of shrimp (I have a shellfish allergy). I called back in to get a refund and was told that their Yakitori is always with shrimp, despite what their website says. read more

Really tasty food. My wife had dumplings app and pad Thai entree I had sushi-sashimi for one. Having lived in Asia during the 90's we get kind of picky about authenticity. No problem here. Wait staff were very friendly and talked to all the customers. BYOB with state liquor store next door. read more

Sushi Jin Jing had excellent food, and a great variety of sushi, I got the pork katsu with a dipping sauce and rice. GREAT rice. Seriously good white rice that I haven't had in a long time. Just perfectly cooked and with such a good taste. The sushi I had was the octopus. The tako. Fresh and tender. The service was tableside by the sushi chef, but it was lunch. Just me inside. A LOT of takeout though. And personally I like the look of the dining room. It's a smallish place, but clean and a good look. I'd eat here again without any problem at all. read more

Avoid!! I placed an order, spoke to a woman who took my order and told me it would be about 30-35 minutes. I stopped and killed some time waiting for 30 minutes to pass and then arrived at the location and the door was locked. I called the same number and a man answered this time and confirmed I was at the right location (I was) . He listed several neighboring businesses to make sure I was in th right place and then he asked me if I was there for the takeout order associated with my cell number (he confirmed my order) . He asked me to wait a minute and someone would let me in. I stood there for a few minutes and called back and the man said 'oh we forgot to tell you we are closed for the lunar new year.' How does this happen? Who took my order 30 minutes ago rather than tell me they were closed? Why even answer the phone if no one's here? Why take the order? Why give a time for pickup? None of this makes sense and is really terrible customer service. I've never experienced something like this before. read more

Great place for Japanese food, sushi, boba tea! I believe this place used to be called Sushi Too but I guess they didn't want to be confused with the other location in Pittsburgh. I tried their chicken yumich, brown sugar milk tea (boba), and custard bun pasta. The chicken yumich was stellar. It's quite large and a little bit difficult to eat, but it's definitely worth getting. It's like a sushi sandwich stuffed with fresh breaded chicken, lettuce, crab stick, tamago, and an incredible sauce. Everything works so well together, from the sweetness in the crab and egg, to the crispy lettuce, to the very flavorful and crunchy breaded chicken. It's honestly so good and unique! The brown sugar bubble tea was pretty standard, but nice. The portion seemed pretty fair and the boba pearls were fresh. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, too, but I didn't see an option for adjusting sweetness. The custard buns were pretty good. The filling was lightly sweet but had a slight sandiness to it in texture. The outside of the bun was not very flavorful, but you do get 2 for $5 so it's a nice deal. Not sure why they call it pasta though. All in all, a fantastic new spot in Gibsonia. It's way better than the other places in the area that I have tried. Definitely make sure you get the amazing Yumich when you come here! read more

I was there for business as my company has their headquarters in Wexford, PA bot far from this place. The restaurant looked very cute inside so the ambiance was nice, albeit it was a Tuesday evening at 8 so very empty dave for one customer. But let me tell you about that one customer: as soon as I walked in he looked at me and said--you just entered one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Pittsburgh. Congratulatons! I mean I had read the positive reviews but this was like a live in-person shout-out. Needless to say, the dude was not wrong and the two rolls I got were both superb. I also got an array of sashimi and I must say that was some of the largest sashimi pieces I have ever had. I had to slice them into two! I can honestly say that 6 slices of fat sashimi and 2 halves of two rolls and I was full! I saved the last "roll" for the next morning as I was too full. It was expensive (as sushi often is) but not overpriced. You get exactly what you paid for and more. Delightful. read more

Hole in the wall type of place. Not a fancy vibe. Which is completely okay! It has more traditional asian cuisine. This isn't a place that has Chinese American food. If you are a sushi lover or someone that is willing to try something new this is the place for you. The man that was serving us was very sweet and hospitable. The food was delicious! Large portions for sushi! The Chicken Yumich was so good! Other places don't offer that on the menu along with the BBQ buns. We will for sure be coming back here. Please give this fine establishment more business. It's a wonderful small restaurant that deserves more foot traffic read more

My daughter and I gave Sushi Jin Jing a try yesterday, and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food was wonderful and the service was friendly. We'll definitely be back for more! The only negative part of our experience was the green tea. It's made with toasted rice (I believe) by the bottling company. This is a matter of preference, but for me was a no go. Otherwise, everything else was great! read more

Went here last night for the first time and had an amazing dinner! The wait was a little long for food, but well worth it. With there only being one person serving and the other making most of the dishes, all 5 tables full, and continuous take out orders, they handled everything very well! We got the miso soup, Gyoza, rock n roll sushi roll, tuna poke bowl and spicy poke bowl. No judgement, we were HUNGRY! I couldn't tell you which of those were my favorite. But what might 'take the cake' we're the complimentary custard buns! They were simply perfection! We will be returning. Often. Thank you Sushi Jin Jing! read more

Great little place. You almost miss it driving up Route 8. The fish is fresh and having been there 3 times I can truly say he is an artist. When you get your order , you are not sure whether to eat or take pictures. All joking aside I have had sushi all over the U.S. and I would rank this in the top 2. Went here two times so far and loved it got there sushi and it was so good, all of the food of theres I've had was very fresh.

Ordered online. Was told 15-20 minutes. Was more like 1/2 hour 45 minutes. 4 separate orders packed in 2 boxes. Wasn't good!

A classic example of "don't judge a book by its cover." From the outside I wasn't sure if I was walking in an office or a restaurant. The inside was very basic, but the food was a very pleasant surprise. Outstanding Japanese sushi at reasonable prices. Very friendly service a well.
