I can't tell you how much I enjoy sushi house. I was skeptical at first but My friend insisted I try it. The fish is of quality I would have never expected. For the quality, the prices are SO low. Some pricey Japanese restaurants don't have the quality of fish that sushi house does. I haven't tried a single thing from sushi house that I didn't like. Not only is their food great, the owner is a sweetheart. She is so kind and genuine. My friend told her that he really liked their tea cups and she told him he could have it if he would like. Ate here after wanting to try them for a while. Had the all you can eat. As a fan of AYCE, and the many places in and around Oceanside, this place was the worst of the lot. They gave so much rice on a piece of sushi that i was full after a few pieces. Also, they bring your entire order, appetizers and main course together. Ordered the maki lunch combo and had it delivered. Firstly, I ordered online so there was no mistaking what I could've said over the phone since they would've received an electronic order. They got my order wrong and the sushi was not good. The brown rice was the consistency of mashed potatoes and the rolls were falling apart. The soup was already cold by the time it was delivered. In all honesty this place deserves a negative 5 stars. Brought my friend here for her birthday dinner. Not only was the food beyond inedible, but both her and my husband had food poisoning with in 5 mins of leaving the place. I hate sushi so can't comment on it.. But the beef negamaki and chicken and vegetable tempura was vile. The water was vile. All the reviews left previously were not honest. Overall one of THE WORST all you can eat sushi places I've ever been to. We literally had to hide the food in our napkins and run to the bathroom and toss it down the toilet bowl. My family received their menu at our door one day and have been ordering their delivery for the last few months (since when they opened). Their food comes neatly prepared and is almost always arriving before we even expect it. Today my friend and brother and I went to their establishment for lunch, their lunch bentos are well priced for the food you get. Despite the sushi being pretty expensive, I can taste the quality and absolutely love the sushi prepared here. I have eaten sushi a number of times from here so I figured I would give their food a try. I'm sorry I did I ordered Fillet mignon and shrimp hibachi. By no stretch of the imagination was there anything that resembled fillet mignon in my dish I got charred little pieces of beef with over cooked shrimp that cost me $21. read more

This cute little place is the best! The food is so delicious! My husband and I always get a bento box. They switch it up a bit for us, just the way we like it. The owner is so sweet and her 2 smart young boys help out as well. This is a nice family business. The prices are spot on and so are all of the terrific dishes. I have been a customer for about two yearsI I usually order the sushi sashimi deluxe. Last nights order was good until I came to the piece of shrimp sushi. I was chewing my food normally and noticed something abnormally crunchy. I initially thought it might be a piece of shrimp shell in the sushi that got stuck between my teeth. SURPRISE!! It was a small metal staple. My wife called Sushi house immediately. She explained what had happened. The woman told my wife that the staple must have fell into the food when the bag was opened in our home. The staple was inside the piece of sushi that was in a sealed container. I look at my food when I am eating. The staple was concealed inside the piece of sushi. The woman said this was not possible. My suggestion to anyone who purchases take-out from Sushi house would be to run it through a metal detector before you you eat it. The only positive that came from last nights situation is that I was not charged for the staple in my in my food. If you seek sushi high in iron Sushi House can provide this at no charge. read more
