The Lake Ridge area does not have a lot of sushi options. We've ordered from here quite a few times and they've always been pretty decent. It's quick, it's convenient, and we've never had a bad experience until recently. I ordered takeout from here on Saturday and got a tuna roll and spicy crab roll. I got home and ate my tuna roll and it was good as usual. I took a bite of my crab roll and had to immediately spit it out because it tasted rotten. I thought maybe it was just the cream cheese, so I tried that and it tasted fine. I tried the crab and determine it was the crab that was spoiled and spit it back out. I looked at the clock and it was past their closing time so I was unable to give them a call and then had a busy Easter Sunday, and they are closed on Monday which led me to calling them today (Tuesday) I ended up giving them a call today to notify them that I ordered from them Saturday and that my crab tasted spoiled when I ate it and that I was unable to call them that night because they were closed. They asked me if I had proof, and of course I don't. They asked me ok well is there something you are requesting? I said I guess not I just want to notify you that what I had was definitely spoiled, and if you still have that batch of crab it needs to be tossed. They said they throw out all of their ingredients every night and fresh ingredients are used in the morning, and that basically ended the call. I was a little taken back from the conversation and lack of apology from their end. While I guess they did ask what I wanted, I was surprised on how they asked it instead of asking what they could do to make it right, or offering a partial refund for that roll. I think we'll likely be taking a little break from sushi in this house since this is the really the only option within 20 mins of our house. I'm giving them 3 stars because other experiences with them have been good. This one just left a bad taste in my mouth...literally :(

    Excellent and tasty. Very tasty.

There is ample parking out front. The waitress is fast and welcoming The rolls are made in front of me with fresh ingredients. My California Role is great!!!!!!

Ambiance was meh. I went with my daughter for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Which is not a bad thing but the restaurant felt a little old and dingy. We ordered a couple appetizers and I think the presentation could have been better. The chicken gyoza definitely tasted like they were from a frozen box. We ordered 3 different rolls. They were all okay. I don't think I will be returning. Service was decent, the waitress could have checked back a little more often. I waited to ask for my check for like 15 mins because she wasn't around.

Yuki and his staff are awesome. Crab Cream Cheese Maki and the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers are amazing. Main entree of sushi was delicious and timely.

Honestly, a mediocre experience. Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon, i seemed to be the sole customer. You have to walk through a dark and shuttered bar area to get to the main restaurant. I was greeted and seated promptly though. I initially tried to order the Hibachi Steak, but was told it would take 40 mins. to make (a fact that I feel should have been written in the menu). I opted for the steak and shrimp bento instead. It took a little longer than I think it should have, especially since I was the only one there. The box itself was so-so; not the worst bento box I've had, but def not the best. The teriyaki sauce was odd, broccoli was off, there was WAY too much rice in my box, and I felt the California Roll was overloaded with avocado. The miso soup was also on the watery side. Overall, an unmemorable, but not terrible, experience.

The sushi is fantastic. I have yet to dine in here but I have ordered sushi 3 times to be delivered and each time its gets better and better. It came in the take out containers and I plated it on my bamboo board to make it fancy haha. This place is my go to sushi spot in Woodbridge.

Second time going to this restaurant it's near our house not the best sushi but not the worst either definitely enjoyable the price is a little steep however this is Northern Virginia, you've got a pay to play - overall I give this a four out of five...better than wegmans but could have been more of a dream.

We had come late at 2 pm and the restaurant closed at 3 pm for lunch. Mia made sure I got my orders in before 2:45 pm when they stop taking orders for AYCE meal purchases for lunch time. There is an additional fee if you don't finish all the food on your plate for AYCE purchases to prevent wasting food & money and to keep prices low. The place was quiet despite having customers at a late time. Loved all the booth seating there and interior decor. It was a mix of modern design & Asian style. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious restaurant. Bathrooms were clean, chic, & modern style Large television screens in the restaurant. One of the televisions had cartoons on it - for children I guess. I selected the AYCE sushi for $27. First order was two sushi rolls: The Christmas roll and Ola sushi roll. The Christmas roll had raw salmon, avocado, masago, and tobiko. The Ola roll had eel, crab, cream cheese, and cucumber. I also two single white tuna sushi, 2 single masago sushi, and 2 single tobiko sushi. It was splendidly displayed on a wooden dragon platter. Despite being full, I ordered a second round of sushi to sample food items I never had: 1 tofu skin sushi, 1 mackerel sushi, and 1 yellowtail sushi. Plus two pieces of takoyaki or fried octopus balls. My husband ordered hibachi shrimp fried rice and said it was delicious. We both ordered Diet Coke. I made a mental note about how I should have skipped meals for two days instead of one before coming here for AYCE. Total price along with two drinks was $43. Not including tips for our server and the sushi chefs. They do give military discount with ID. Definitely a go see restaurant for great Japanese cuisine and AYCE. If you go for the AYCE meal deal, try skipping 2-3 meals and eat it on an empty stomach.

Really wish we didn't order so much everything was terribly low quality and tasted poorly. Spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail had an odd texture as if they cut it with something in order for it to go further. Yakisoba needed more sauce and seasoning it was super bland. Rolls had tons of imitation crab and tasted bland. Nothing was fresh. For all the nigiri and sashimi, it tasted so bland and lacked freshness that we actually needed to chop it up and turn it into poke just to make it edible. We tossed it in a ponzu sauce over rice and with all the toppings made it decent just to stomach it. Total was $94 for everything and I don't have one good thing to say. Will not be back at all.

I also failed to mention that while we were waiting in the bar area, I ordered an appetizer and they bought me out the wrong thing. I ordered the steamed shrimp shumai and they bought me out fried shrimp shumai. When I asked the waitress about this, she said she didn't know why and that was all she said. I understand it was Valentine's Day and things can be busy, so I tried to be patient. However, the restaurant didn't appear overly crowded, and it was disappointing to see three tables who arrived after us receive a cook before we did. To top it off, there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill, which may explain the lack of attentiveness we experienced. I'd be open to giving this place another try, but probably not on a holiday.

Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future.

Her tone and manner of communication were unwelcoming and inappropriate for a customer service environment. As a first-time customer, I felt dismissed and uncomfortable by the interaction. I understand that businesses may begin closing procedures before the official closing time; however, customers who are still being served should be treated with courtesy and respect. The manager's behavior did not reflect the level of professionalism that customers should expect when visiting a food establishment. I decided to visit a second time on June 15 because my son and I enjoyed the dumplings. As I was paying for our order, I asked the lady attending to us if Simka was indeed the manager. It's baffling to me that a person of that character would be managing employees or a food establishment. Simka questioned the cashier and turned at me to announce her thoughts about my return even with the unacceptable behavior she set in front of other customers. I…read moreonly give it out when a restaurant has either an unsafe dining experience or has some major service issues to the point of being insulting. During my visit here, I saw dishonest pricing practices and manipulative behavior that broke my trust with the restaurant as a customer. And the other reviews show this as a pattern. I wouldn't be so harsh had I not seen other diners say the same thing. The "friendly" approach by the owner, asking where you're from and sharing how many people travel to dine here, isn't genuine hospitality. It's a tactic to catch you off guard and encourage you to spend more. Everything about this interaction felt calculated, and the constant upselling only reinforced that impression. It felt like being a mark for a used car salesman. I'm not being cynical - you'll see why below. Here's what happened: 1. I got into the restaurant and for the whole time I was there, there was only one other table was occupied on a Friday night. Décor was outdated and a bit crumbly. 2. I ordered at the front, and while I was looking at the prices, they said there's no reason to look at the overhead menu, saying that I can look at the pictures of the items in front of me (conveniently without prices). 3. Owner asks "friendly questions" that try to get you off guard, like where you're from, what you do for work, stuff that a normal cashier never asks. Common used car salesman tactic. 4. Then, they asked to upsell stuff 3 separate times (All add-on prices are not marked). I don't mind a little upselling but with all the other things, it was very manipulative. They asked if I wanted dumplings, drinks, or "anything else." It wasn't a single statement. I answered no three separate times because one question came after the other. It shows she really wanted to get all this out of you. 5. Without being asked, they preemptively said, "We're not McDonald's, so we're not fast." Strange comment, especially since I hadn't brought up timing. 6. Bill came out. The receipt didn't match the menu prices or the prices displayed in the photos. See website photo (matches the menu prices). And it was $29.65 for a menu item that was $23.95. With 6% sales tax in this county, it should have been $25.39. So she just stole $4.26 from me. A small amount, but totally breaks any trust that you aren't just scamming people. Looks like it's not an isolated incident based on the other reviews. 7. Also the food didn't look like the menu item at all. They clearly covered up the roll with sauce to hide the fact that they had so few ingredients. The food was mediocre. The sushi rice tasted old and clumpy, the unagi was pretty thin. The veggie roll was just avocado and rice, not even with like cucumbers for many. While not inedible, it certainly didn't justify the fake $29.50 price tag Overall, I was really mad at this experience, and The combination of deceptive pricing, mediocre food, and tactics designed to extract every dollar left me feeling disappointed and misled. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Like a tea house scam. To the owner, who has replied to messages in the past. You should think about why I and other reviewers have given 1 stars, and are writing about being scammed. I recommend an immediate apology and upgrade of your menu. You should also wonder if scamming customers is actually making you more money. The truth is you would make more money by being honest!
