The food is good but if you have any kids-- avoid this place. My 10 y/o knocked on the restroom door to see if it was available and the person inside gave my child the middle finger through the fogged glass. My child came and told us so we knocked on the door and again was flipped off. The person- AN EMPLOYEE- came out laughing and said sorry once they saw us adults. Truly excellent little place in Arnold. Who knew you could find such amazing sushi in Jeff Co? Prices are very reasonable, the menu is large but user friendly. Food is made fresh at their sushi counter. It came out fast, prepared and presented beautifully and tasted great. We had a bento dinner with came with a hot entree, sticky rice, tempura veggies and a sushi roll. We also got a spicy tuna roll, edamame and pot stickers. So, so good! Try it! read more

The food here is so good! This is def my go-to for sushi, crab Rangoon and shrimp fried rice. They are super fast and very friendly. The server even gave me and my friend a short lesson on how to use chopsticks lol We order pick up at least once a week from here! read more

Horrible service. Placed an order for pick-up with a 15 minute "ready" window. I paid as soon as I got there (within 15 min of ordering) and stood waiting for over 45 minutes. The food is great here and the service usually is as well. I have noticed for the last year that the grease ALL over the sidewalk to the front entrance is terrible and it stinks. They have a lunch/dinner special where you can get nigiri sushi, sushi rolls, and an appetizer for a set price (just $20 for the dinner special). What a great deal and so many varieties of sushi and appetizers to choose from! I ordered online and went to pick it up; the store had a little window in the foyer to pick up/order and they provided a little table in front of it with all the menus as well. First time to the Arnold Sushi Ai. Have always heard good things about this location and they lived up to everything I was told. The sushi is made very well and fast. The wait staff is very good. I like that this restaurant is not all that's big. It maybe sits about 40ish people by my judgement and this allows the staff to keep up with great service and food. Sushi Ai is located in a small old strip mall just off Highway 55 and Richardson Road. Maki portions were very generous and yummy. Our server was very nice and efficient. It seemed like all of the employees are actually Japanese, which made it a more authentic experience for me. My only complaint would be the music was a little loud and it was noisy. Let me be honest, I love to eat. When I was told that this was all you can eat, don't leave even a morsel of rice type of thing, I thought, "challenge accepted". At other sushi restaurants and just restaurants in general, I find myself not full even after spending a fortune (I'm 18 so that's like $30). I also enjoy Sushi Ai because no one there knows what the dress code is, so, if I'm in sweatpants, I fit in, if I'm in jeans, I fit in. If you are ever in a confusing situation ship, take them Sushi Ai, because it could be a date, but it doesn't have to be, which I love! Two drawbacks, there was limited seating so my over energetic self had to wait and the parking lot was poorly placed. They have a range of options from simple and traditional maki and nigiri to fancy sauced-up rolls with tons of toppings. Prices are very reasonable, including an option for $20 all-you-can-eat OR a $20 dinner special, which was a great deal for us. The restaurant is cozy and fun inside, with cool decor and friendly staff. It was also bustling and busy when we visited, which added to the energy. This was a really nice little restaurant. The service was fast and polite. We both got the AYCE sushi and it was so worth the $20 a piece. We got the edamame and gyoza to start and each got two rolls and I also got a pieces of nigiri. I had the volcano and spicy salmon to start and honestly, they were almost the same roll. One had massago and what I think was Siracha on top and the other didn't but both were delicious. My bf got the jalepeno roll as well. Everything we had was served quickly and it was delicious. We each also had a fried Oreo for dessert. I love that that's part of the AYCE special. We have been to 3 different Sushi AI locations. This one and St. Charles seem to have the same menu and Chesterfield has a different one. My bf's favorite location is Chesterfield and I think mine is this one. read more
