This hospital lacks courtesy and professionalism. I had an appointment in which i was 10min it's…read moreearly but realized i forgot my I.D and insurance . I called before heading up to see if i could be seen without this and was advised i needed it . I let them know that because i had to go all the way home i wouldn't be back until about 25-30 past my scheduled appointment time and asked if they could ask the doctor if she could still see me as i could not report to work until being seen . She advised that i may have to wait but the doctor would still see me . I go allll the way home and get back for Julie at the front desk to tell me "I'm sorry but the doctor has other procedures today and will not be able to see me " and that whoever told me i needed my ID and insurance was incorrect . Mind you i already asked Kayla from the call center if i could be seen and if this insurance was needed . I had to wait a month to get in with a doctor for a severe matter due to me having state insurance whereas a friend of mine was able to get an appointment the following week. If your not PPO they treat you completely different and do not care about your medical needs in any way . Dr Brown made no effort to see me that day or at all even though this matter was due to the unprofessionalism of her staff. I have never experienced an office who does not hold their staff accountable for what they are advising patients . I work i medical and something like this would never occur in our office . Julie then advised there were other appointments but they were appointments she "couldn't touch" (due to my insurance) and instead referred me to a farther office for another day . And had the audacity to say this was the best they could do and they were trying to help. Never again!

I appreciate Dr. Hemmer & his care with my kids yes he's great but Mary is unbearably miserable & takes it out on whoever's day she can ruin.

The doctor wanted to do a scope through the nose which took all of 2 minutes. He said it would be worthwhile and it's only $140. They charged me $250 for both the visit and the scope and I had to pay this before I left, figuring I was paid up. Then I received a bill which stated that the $140 scope was billed for $400 and for the $110 office visit, I was charged $300. And to make it worse, I got no relief from my pain and was told to go to a different doctor but then come back to see him when I got those results. Certainly will not be returning to this office.

She is capable of winning the respect of difficult little kids who might not otherwise comply. She understands a broad range of family health issues and is able to quickly refer to other family members' health needs and how that might affect the given patient at the time. If everyone had a doctor like this I don't think America would be in the health crisis it is right now.
