He fixed a button on my dress perfectly and hemmed my boyfriend's pants, and both came out flawless. What really stood out to me was how accommodating he was. We mentioned that we had a flight to catch on Friday, and even though we came in on Monday, he had everything ready the same day. That level of service is so rare and honestly so appreciated. He has so much experience and it really shows in his work. Everything looked clean, professional, and tailored exactly how we wanted. On top of that, he was so kind and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for high quality tailoring with quick turnaround and amazing customer service. We'll definitely be coming back!

I am hard to fit when it comes to clothing, so I was amazed when I found out there where suits at Jack's Tuxedo that fit me perfectly. The salesperson listened to what I needed and found exactly what I was looking for. He wasn't pushy, just thoughtful and helpful. The service here is old school, the salesman has a passion for getting things right, and for making me look great. I ended up buying a wonderful tux at half the price I was expecting, and I was completely impressed by the quality. The alterations were made within 30 minutes, plus they steamed and pressed my suit and shirt so that they were ready to wear that same evening. In summary, I could not be more pleased. Great service and expertise, wonderful prices, plentiful inventory plus a great shopping experience.

If you are a plus size bride, don't bother. They didn't have a big selection at all. Unless you are…read morethe type of person that can find a dress anywhere you go and be ok with it. We had more than one phone conversation with them (prior to driving an hour and a half each way for this appointment) in which they stated that they had a large selection of plus size samples. In reality, they had one rack in the back of the store. This store is supposedly the only store in PA (maybe just western PA) to carry the Allure Disney Fairy Tale collection. If that's true that's very sad bc they had a small rack of them, most older, a few new and even fewer in plus size. Actually I don't know if they had any, bc the only ones my daughter liked they didn't have. If you're going to brag and be half snarky on the phone that you're the "only store in PA" to carry that line, then you should have an extensive selection of that line in all sizes. Don't waste your time looking at their "available dresses" on the website bc they didn't have some of them and told us that they don't have time to keep up with that. Ok? Then don't list any. The only positive experience was that our consultant Sue was very nice. She went out of her way to help my daughter and was very knowledgeable. The poor selection and just meh gowns is not her fault. Even tho she had never been told any information about my daughter prior to her appointment, which should ALWAYS be done. Why bother asking questions if you're not going to pass them along to the consultant? If you're are an average size bride that is on the lower end of the budget range (which is perfectly fine!) and you aren't picky at all, then this place might be ok. If you want something different or at all out of the ordinary same old same old, skip this place.

I wanted to share my recent experience at Berk's with you. My son is attending HOCO this year, and…read morewe needed to buy him a suit. I called Berk's this past Saturday, 9/13, at 9:30 am to inquire if we needed to schedule an appointment for a fitting. The store was closed, so I left a message asking for a return call. By 10:30 am, I still had not received a call, so I decided to call again. This time, I was informed that no appointment was necessary and we could just come in. When we arrived at the store, we were not acknowledged by any employees. My son and his girlfriend started looking around and found a jacket, and then we began browsing shirts and ties. Despite being in the store for approximately 15 minutes, not one employee offered to assist us. My son eventually suggested we leave and go somewhere else, which we did. Despite my hesitations due to their online reviews, we decided to go to Men's Warehouse. To my surprise, they were fantastic! We ended up purchasing a tux, shirt, tie, and shoes there. This experience has convinced me not to return to Berk's, even though I have bought numerous suits for my husband from your store in the past. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve customer service in the future.

What I really liked that you could look at the dresses yourself and pick out what you wanted to try on. A lot of salons don't let you do this. You tell them what you're looking for and they pick out the dresses. I'm sure this requires more work on the businesses end, but I do appreciate it. The dresses are gorgeous and there's a nice variety. I saw all the styles you'd expect to find including mermaid, silhouette, a-line, fit and flair, ball gown and some trendier choices like non-white dresses. THEN the real show stopper - a traditional cut strapless fit and flare dress covered in a sequin underlay so it sparkles like the sun. It was truly breathtaking. That's the special one my friend went home with. There's a room you can go into to get dressed, and the attendees will help you. They also provide strapless bras if you didn't bring your own, nice touch! Again, the people working couldn't have been nicer and were so patient and answered all our questions. It was a truly pleasant experience. Prices seem to be very much on par with most boutiques, I think you just have to come with a budget in mind. I will highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great experience.

My daughter called over 2 months ago and was told "waiting to be shipped". I called a month later and was told the same thing and that there was an issue with another bride's dress whose wedding was before my daughter's . That is not my concern or should matter. I was also told by the owner MaryBeth that "we are cutting it close" and she would see what was going on. I made sure she knew that I would take further action if needed. The tracking number for the dress was provided within 2 days and was not even shipped priority but took a week to get there. My daughter had to call them to set up a fitting. I truly believe if she did not call, they would not have contacted her until after April 1st ( the shop is closed 3/22 until 4/1). When questioning the time frame for fitting and alterations the second time, MaryBeth stated " there is plenty of time for that" ,contradicting herself. We picked up the dress and chose to not have the seamstress, (who was a lovely lady and helpful, more than the owner), do the alterations. Marybeth was there and did not offer a single apology and did not speak more than a few words. The service received here was the worst experience I could imagine any bride going through. My daughter did her research prior and the reviews were good. Ladies do not choose this retailer unless you plan on staying On top of them each step of the way and want to listen to BS . Did I mention that I myself was able to contact the company that the dress was ordered from once the tracking was provided and was told by a great representative there that the dress was only recently ordered and paid for!?
