I own a shortboard but Texas surf most of the time isn't strong enough for me to get up on my board, so I always rely on Breaker sports to rent me one of their longboards. Prices aren't bad either, it's $12 per day with a $12 deposit for the boards. I can't remember the rental price for wetsuits, it has been a while since I rented one as I purchased my own wetsuit and spring suit a year or two ago. In addition to their rentals they also have a nice size selection of boards and gear to buy. I would much rather buy from them than take the risk of buying something that is misleading online. It is a family owned business so you get that family type of atmosphere as soon as you enter the store.

I have seen the strip mall literally evolve around surfhouse. Much respect to the owners and (developers?!?) for making sure this landmark and epic shop didn't get pushed out. Yesterday I called and a real person who knows what's what gave me the rundown on their longboard skateboard inventory. No way l was going to order online a China made knock off for this important purchase. Slid in to and found the perfect sled, USA made gravity longboard that I bought for my son as his Christmas gift.
