History

Established in 2013.

At the time, part of our long-term vision was to facilitate a job training program where we could employ young men and women who were ready to "refresh" their lives. TTLM had been providing complimentary interview outfits for our clients for several years already, so a boutique felt like a natural next step, as well as a strategic way to connect with new friends in the community. Our Job Trainees participate in a 9-month intensive program that includes a variety of classes focusing on life skill development, case management support, counseling, and more. Part of their time is spent working in Refresh, which not only builds a consistent work history, but provides a living classroom for developing professional communicaiton skills and solid work habits.

Meet the Manager: Cindy B.

Cindy is the Retail Manager at Refresh Boutique. Her time at Refresh actually started as a volunteer over 11 years ago. She enjoys helping people and believes in the mission of True to Life Ministries. As the Retail Manager, Cindy strives to make this store a place that is beautiful inside and out. A place of learning and growing for the Next Level Interns. A place where volunteers can do meaningful work. A place where you can shop and have fun. Refresh Boutique is a special place and once you walk through the doors, you will see all that makes it so special.
