From the moment she arrived, the staff has treated her with kindness, compassion, and respect. Everyone we've interacted with has been very professional and genuinely seems to care about helping her recover. It's obvious they want their residents to succeed, and they're giving my mother the support and encouragement she needs to get back on her feet. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put our minds at ease. Communication with our family has also been excellent, which has made a stressful situation so much easier. After the terrible experience we had before, Seashore Gardens has truly been a breath of fresh air. We're grateful for the care, patience, and dedication the entire team has shown my mother. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seashore Gardens to anyone looking for a rehabilitation facility where the staff genuinely cares about their patients and works hard to help them recover. The only negative I have experienced so far has been the call button issues. It usually takes about 30mins-1hour for someone to show up. My mom was left in the bathroom calling for help for over an hour before someone finally showed up after the aide forgot she was in there. It wasn't an emergency situation but it could have been. This seems to be an issue at this facility I notice atleast a half dozen+ call button notices on their screens at any given time that aren't being addressed every time I go there. I understand most of the time these aren't emergencies or even real problems (accidental presses happen often too) and the staff probably gets bombarded with them all they it becomes backlogged.. This needs to be addressed though, perhaps a system for REAL emergencies versus a call button for assistance? This was only thing keeping me from giving them a 5th star. Thank you to everyone at Seashore Gardens for everything you're doing for my mother.

The "cuisine" they describe is coming from the lowest bidder and apparently the kitchen staff is not given what it takes to prepare most of the dished they aspire to, like it's supposed to be turkey and gravy, yet I swear there was not even the slightest hint of turkey, maybe tofu trying to be turkey. It actually cut in straight lines and cubed. Should hot dogs, bacon or sausage be deep fried? 70% of the time I am actually dumbfounded. Should you like a cup of what they call coffee, I promise not one staff member will rush to go to the kitchen on the first floor from the 3rd floor. That also answers the question, why can't our meals arrive warm enough to melt the butter substitute? From the coffee (or water for tea) and the rest of breakfast, all the way to supper, cool is the temperature of the center. After a month and a half it weighs on you because you gotta eat what you get. Now the big one. It may not seem like much but to us that need hydration and do not have access to cold beverages,(tap water is what we got) it's close to torture. The ice machine on my floor, 3rd floor, died a month ago. After a week someone took the initiative to fill a container from the 2nd floor machine for us. Even then and now, getting a staff member to get ice is rough and I understand. The aides are busy enough backing up the nurses with giving personal care. Most understand that wanting ice isn't something to be viewed as trivial NOW, the 2nd floor machine went down. Now they get to join us for the fun. The head nurse for our floor is trying but this one lies another level up, where the bottom line is what matters. No doubt I'll have more to add.

My brother and his wife complained nonstop about the horrendous care and horrendous food. At night they were often late with his medication and personal care. He would lie in his poop for hours despite complaints. I tried to help from 3000 miles away via phone. Most of the time a nightmare! One time when I called I wad told there was no patient by his name Wasput on hold twice..second time they still couldn't find his name, the third time they found it actually stating to me they don't always update their patient roster....really? Another time, speaking to my brother he asked me to help..someone was supposed to come in and clean him up from his poop but the female workers told him she had 17 patients in worse condition than he was, who needed her help before him..what a thing to tell a patient lying in his poop. Several times I left a message for the attending Dr. to call me and I was told by female employee that would be a surprise if the doctor even comes around, let alone calls me..amazing. My brother constantly complained about the food..how could anyone. ----up a grilled cheese or peanut butter and jelly sandwich? In all fairness there were a few employees who went out of their way to accommodate, answer questions and make my brother's life a little more bearable including 3rd floor male employee (Philippino?)Rig, LVN Laurie, Manager on duty Isabell Bradley and her assistant, another lady. Although he was not mobile, they did not provide medical transfer to 2 appts he had to see a urologist and surgeon. His small statured wife was left to struggle transferring him via wheelchair and walker from bed to wheelchair to walker etc etc..according to both of them it was a nightmare and they had to find assistance the entire 2 outings.. Finally, there is a gal who is in charge of the hospital transport who Isabell's assistant told me to speak to re the transport. Believe her name is Patrice. She spoke very, very condensendingly, rude, and in the end I had to terminate the conversation, totally unwilling to assist. She spoke a mile a minute, rattling off medical terminology, procedure, not ketting me get a wird in..maybe you can find a recording if there is one..Unbelievable and a shame! Would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. Been involved in the insurance regulatory business much of my working career and this facility is a nightmare except for the few who I was fortunate to run into and mentioned above.
