First let me start off by saying this is NOT the same Seabrook House that everyone knows of. The…read morefamily sold it a few years back and now it is under the umbrella of Summit. I have private insurance and now Seabrook is accepting state insurance too. They group everyone in the same building, and even tho they separate the classes of private to state the conditions are the same. I really didn't have a problem with that, however the state clients continued to bring in drugs and nobody was doing anything about it. Under staffed. Groups never happen, and they do not care about your recovery. They forgot to give me my meds upon discharge. They didn't even set up my aftercare. I was also robbed by the state clients while there. Not happy with my treatment at all. DO NOT go there. CEO is a jerk that does NOTHING.

If I can give a 0-star rating, I would. My son admitted to this program for detox only. He called…read moreus and loved the place. It was hard to convince him to stay and this place he had no problem agreeing to stay. Halfway into the program I called to speak to Kate his therapist and left a message. There was a release on file. NO return call. I called 2 days later, again no call back. Then the day before he was to discharge, I called again. No call. That night an altercation ensued, another client became combative to my son and a few others. Police were called and everyone involved was thrown out. They did not even want to give my son his cell phone. They are in the middle of nowhere so thank goodness my son insisted on getting his property. It took me 5 hours to get him home. They put him on medication that is an absolute necessity to prevent relapse and failed ot provide it to him when he left. The next day I called about 27 times trying different extensions, and spoke to admission dept who instructed me that they are only admissions..so they are available to speak basically to pull people in, so the heck with existing clients, I guess. NO call back all week and now, no meds. They did more harm than good at this point putting my son on a medium-level dose to detox him then abruptly stopping his prescription. I warned the admissisons person that they have more ability than I do to speak with a live person and that I will reach out to the state because it is lillegal to pull away medically-necessary meds, if I do not get a call back with a prescription by today. This is a failure-setup. Here we are with NO MEDS to continue with recovery. It took so long to get my son to even go and now we are back at nowhere because all they care about is admitting more people $$$, not helping the discharged/existing clients.
