Bought a PS double stringer bat tail during their recent sale event so i could try that board shape…read morewithout spending $300 - $500 and it turned out to be one of the worst customer service experiences ive come across. This cheapie e. solomon board had nice volume to it and looked fresh so i took it out for a couple hours after work and before college classes at 1730. Good times until i realized that the board creased just in front of where the stringers were. Bummer but its a cheapie! Where i felt burned was when the board continued to drain water from under the deck because it isnt properly sealed. I addressed the issue with Alex, he said send pictures so we can warrantee it and get things started on a return. (Great start) Next email, no warrantee, no return/ replacement and a cold close. Here are $250 options so you can buy a higher quality board, as if id like to accept getting burned for the cost of the first board. Also, a very subtle admission that 662 knows it is selling rubbish. So i turn down their "good faith offer" to gamble on spending more money on equipment they wont replace if it is faulty. No thanks! Next, Sheri contacts and tell me that 20% off my next purchase isnt something they HAVE TO do and is an offer in good faith. She tells me that i should buy higher quality equipment and denies any responsibility. Another cold close, refusing to stand by equipment they have no issues selling and telling me to spend more money with them to fix my mistake. I challenge again and literally tell them to expect better of themselves, to which no reply was given. (I didnt expect one) No store cred, no replacement board for one that isnt taking on water and no accountability. Only a promise to provide good customer service when i am ready to order more equipment from them. (I wont) A gamble not worth taking. My suggestion, order from literally anyone else. Anywhere else.
