The one employee hit the button before the other one was ready. The one was too busy talking to the other employees, and I didn't purchase the cheapest. $11 wasted asked for a receipt and that didn't print. read more

This car wash does not clean your car very well. Save your money. Take a drive to Jacks car wash

When this wash first opened, it seemed like it always got my vehicles spotless. Today, I went through the wash a 2nd time after showing the manager how dirty my truck still was after the $14 I spent. Still dirty. Will not be coming back here. read more

October 2, 2018 12:00pm I go to take my car to get washed because it had rained this morning and I had bought a car wash yesterday thinking I would go and get a free car wash today I handed the girl who is very rude my receipt she said I could not get a free car wash because I only bought a $10 car wash and not a $13 car wash she would not let me pay an additional three dollars to get a car wash she was so rude about it would not let me get a car wash even though it rained and they have a rain policy completely unacceptable there are so many carwashes in Fresno Clovis avoid going to this one!!!! read more

Don't take your vehicle unless it's already clean. Don't expect to be happy when you leave. This place sucks. Then again if you have low standers you might be happy. Your gamble. I've been going to this car wash since it first opened. It has steadily been going down hill. Don't bother wasting your time, try someplace else. read more

DISCLOSURE: Review is solely based upon the customer service, the car wash itself is great, generally have no issues there. I'm rating this location specifically one star because if a bad experience. I had went in on a Tuesday to get my car washed. I specifically asked, and always make it a big point, that they take the tire shine option off of my wash. I asked the kid to take it off and he assured me he did after I asked twice. Checked my receipt and sure enough he had taken it off. I go through the wash and after I'm done I get out to inspect and see that there is tire shine all over my wheels. I drive around and ask to talk to a manager. The supervisor at the time is the same kid who messed up my car wash in the first place. He asks me if I want to go through again to get it off, which will not be able to take it off. I tell him I'd rather just have a refund and he tells me that he can't give me one and if I'd like his managers number. I tell him yes that would be fine. So he gives me her number and says that there is probably no point in calling because that manager won't do a refund either. So I left feeling rather mistreated. I called the number he gave and got a voicemail which I left my name and number and explained the situation. It has been almost a week and I haven't had my call returned which I find very unprofessional. Overall it's a good car wash, I would not recommend going to the Herndon one though. It's a bunch of kids, some that have no respect, and overall not a great customer experience. read more

It's a nice system, but literally the half of my hood near the windshield didn't get washed at all. There is a clear line where the brushes (including the people before the tunnel with brushes) reached and where they obviously did not. I have a Honda CR-V - it's not weird shaped or large or anything, so this seems like a major oversight. For $11, I will not be returning. read more

After getting my car washed here, my car was still completely covered in dirt. This place absolutely sucks at washing your car. I also noticed that every other car that had been through the car wash had a layer of dirt too. Needless to say I will never be coming back here or any other location of this business. I could've washed my car better with a garden hose using no soap. read more

Wanted to get my car washed but didn't want the long wait so i checked this place out. It's basically a drive-thru car wash like what you would find at a gas station. What sets this apart is the customer service. The staff seemed energetic and they scrub your car with long brushes before entering the wash. You have to vacuum your own car but its easy to use and has strong suction. Its a good wash in a pinch. read more

Terrible wash. Didn't hardly clean my vehicle. Paid $13 for the elite but wouldn't pay $5. Basically just got my car wet.

We recently drove our cars to Fresno from Las Vegas, so the cars were dirty. One of us got the 14$ Ultimate and there is soap residue on side mirrors and dirt at the bottom of all doors and back of car. Appreciated the courteous service and the 5$ off next wash. That was for my car: same result, but I still have a streak of dirt on the hood. Maybe the Express needs to be slowed down a bit. I have never moved through a car wash so fast!! At least most the dirt is gone, but will be looking for another place. The washes were not worth 14$ each. read more

You people are cry babies.. I swear.. This is not a detail shop or a hand wash. It's a drive thru wash that cleans your car with machines.. It is more than adequate for the price and what it offers.. If you want a professional job go pay the big bucks and have your car hand washed. Smh how can you complain about unlimited wash for $20 hahahaha read more

Very poor customer service. I haven't been here in a long time. Due to the last bad customer service issue. I've been going to Red Carpet. My trim to my drivers side door came off. I asked to get my trim. A kid by the name of Chou went and got it for me. I asked how he wanted to handle this. His reply was. Who ever put it on. Did a cheap job and walked away. I take care of my Denali. Guess I'll go back to Red Carpet. read more

Surf Thru Express Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Clovis, California

I've been here many times and have always had a good experience. Friendly staff with a quick and high quality service. Who wants to wait at some of these other places for 45+ minutes. It takes me about 10 minutes to run it through and vacuum my car and I'm on my way. Keep up the great work! read more

Worst car wash and service. I always pay for a #1 which is an ultimate wash and they give me a basic. So I drive through again and still don't get what I paid for. This happens 9 out of 10 times I go. They are thieves. I tried to speak with a manager but of course no one is there. I have a gift card to use up otherwise I would never go. It is a waste of my time every time I go. read more

Service sucks at this location. Girl that you pay isn't pleasant. No help guiding car in. Guys just sitting. Shaw location much better

I came to this car wash a few days ago and i am switching here from ride and shine, Hannah was such a sweetheart and everyone that worked there seemed so happy and energetic! You get a bunch of free stuff with the wash as well as getting to vacuum your car! I asked the supervisor (i think it was Brent?) if i could get another dash wipe and he took off and got it for me! And then i was greeted by another employee, his name was Haskell, who was so helpful he even cleaned my rims for me!Everyone was so kind that this place is fun to come to! Im going to recommenced all my friends and family go here! Great job SurfThru! Will be back very soon! read more

This place is great! The cashier, her name was Kailynn i believe, and the scrubbers did really good! While i was vacuuming a man, Brett was his name, came and asked if my wash went well and i responded with amazing! A few moments later one of the men that was scrubbing my car asked if i would like some tire shine and it made my car look brand new! If i could rate this place higher i would! For sure going to come back here! read more

Just went through wash they have speed up the process the quality was very poor. Poor rinse and dry. No wonder there wasn't a line. Loosing customers!! read more

I'm usually happy with this car wash, but have had two bad experiences lately. I took my truck through last week and the brushes didn't even touch my hood or sides of my truck. I told the attendant I didn't have time to run it through again and he said to just come back any time and tell them what happened and they would let me go through free. Well I did that yesterday and was told I would have to pay again. The girl told me the person that told me that was wrong. The other experience was similar. read more

No notification or listing a price increase but just increasing our monthly card without notifying your customers is a big NO NO and illegal. Your managers have no clue or information on this practice but you have lost 3 good customers and won't hear the end of this . Terrible business practice!! Shame on you. read more

Great location for me but not so great service, often have to run car they second time and still car is not pre scrubbed like should be. Then soap is never fully rinsed, with their pruc a I expect ALOT more or better off doin it yourself at hm read more

Been here multiple times. I go for the sake of it being the shortest wait for an automated carwash, but each time, my car has sections that are untouched by the end and I have to go around for a second wash. Did just that today with my new vw Jetta and it went from being dirty to being dirty AND COVERED IN SCRATCHES. Gonna upload a photo later, but my paint is covered in swirl scratches and there are deep ones penetrating the base coat of the pant on my bumper. This $14 carwash is gonna cost me hundreds to thousands in auto detail. read more

everytime i wash my car here, i always great service at this location! everyone is super nice, especially jordan mendez was super helpful!

I came here for the first time today and was greeted by a worker named Dana, she was so sweet and helpful. A great car wash for a great price, I will definitely be returning and recommending this car wash to others!! read more

Those guys that are washing (scrubbing) were just like playing around and even you go twice they will just don't mind even they clean your vehicle or not! Great management but just those boys sucks!!! read more

This place may be fine if you only have dust on your car. Took my pickup there, had to rewash it when I got home. Got the ultimate wash. Despite all of their brushes and soap they didn't even get the dead bugs off my windshield or front bumper. Lousy job on my wheels as well. Surely not worth 14 bucks. I can get the same type of car wash at the gas station for seven bucks. read more

I came back in the afternoon after getting a car wash in the morning because I still had a few dirty spots. (wasn't surprised since it was very, very dirty) I didn't have my receipt and Joshua said no problem and washed it again. He is a total professional and I would come back again because of his outstanding service! Thanks Joshua! read more

I came here for the first time, VERY impressed the place looks clean. Staff is friendly, I came back around to purchase a membership. Love the dashwipes! read more

This should be a negative star review upon coming here and they messed up my wash a few weeks ago they sent me through again and messed it up still. I go back again they give me the lowest wash when I paid for the ultimate. Send me through again and they still give me an express wash. Then today I go pay for the ultimate again and they didn't even wash the vehicle they offer to send it through but shame on me for trusting this place again they refused to give me my money back. Don't go to this place if you value your vehicle at all. read more

I've visited surf thru on many occasions, usually with no issues. A few weeks ago after buying a 2018 Honda Civic off the showroom floor, I bought a package deal for washes there. After about 2 weeks of washes I was drying my car like I always do, as their blowers aren't very good, and noticed a dent on the hood of my new car. I set up a meeting with the manager Jaime who wasn't there when he said he would be so I spoke to one of theemployees and he took pictures of the damage. Filled out a form and waited a week and a half to hear back. After hearing nothing back I called and spoke to the manager who said the claim was denied because 'our machinery wouldn't make a dent that small. If it was going to dent it would be a big dent'. That's the nonsense I was fed by the manager. I'm supposedly going to get a call back from his supervisor. I'll give it a few days and go from there. I couldn't find a phone number for their corporate office anywhere on line and the local manager wasn't allowed to give out that number. Really! I call BS I'll be washing my car at home from now on. This place won't take responsibility for the dent. I may have to take them to court. I hope that won't have to be the case. But I'm leasing this car and am not about to get penalized at the end of the lease for Surf thru express' crappy machinery! Steer clear of this place, it's bad news! read more

This car wash is really nice kept with a friendly and helpful staff. If the car isn't cleaned all the way they rerun your car through no questions asked. this is the only place i go to get my wash. prices are reasonable and the customer service is great. i highly suggest this place to everyone read more

So today we took the Jeep through the car wash and it left a whole bunch of soap all over the car and we were stopped in the middle of the car was for 5 mins. Overall it was not worth the 11 dollars of a car wash! The Jeep still has dirt all over it. read more

Alexus was so sweet and helpful! I'll be going back to this location just to see her!

Use this for the work cars. Sometimes you have to go through a couple of time to get the car clean. I like that I can really clean the inside. I bring my own rags along. The newly added air hose is a great feature. read more

Been going to the Herndon location for two years now. Does a decent job with my Traverse and not so great job with my silver Prius. Whenever my Prius goes through, and we purchased the Ultimate wash annual pass, it would leave a long streak of dirt on the floorboard. Not problems on the higher clearance Traverse, just the Prius. I'm not one to go through a wash twice, but I finally couldn't take it anymore. It was explained that the tire shine will leave a long streak of what appears to be dirt on the lower clearance vehicles. She turned off the tire shine, and once it was rewashed, the problem was solved. Never have had this happen at any other drive thru car wash business (red carpet, etc), so I'm a little irked since I would not have bought the annual pass if I would have know this. read more

Can't beat the value, really. For $5 you can get a very adequate wash, and if it's not clean the first time through you can go through again with your receipt. Only two problems; the dryers don't really dry your vehicle well at all, so bring a towel, and people tend to hang out for way too long at the vacuums. But then, for $5 it's not bad. read more

Great place to get a quick car wash. I recommend the $6 express car wash. Afterward pull around the side for a quick vacuum and wipe down of your vehicle. read more

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CAR WASH!!! They took my bank card and charged me in error then when I asked they fix it they charged me again..... they called a "supervisor" from another store whom stated they have a policy that they can't give people cash back even though they were unable to figure out how to reimburse their error the " supervisor" stated he didn't have a car so could not travel to the location to fix my problem.... I refused to leave until the situation was rectified so they called clovis PD on me, lol....... the officer was like " mam.... look at him (the cashier) he's like 12 give him a break", in what universe am I living???? After all was said and done I was told I'd get a call back the next day which never happened, I called everyday since the incident and it still has not been resolved! They said they credited my account but I have yet to see a credit nor any type of accommodation for the troubles..... read more

Always go here excellent wash every time just bring a towel to dry cause the air dryers don't get 100% of the water off. Also staff is very polite and helpful! read more
