The only problem, if you can call it that, is I LOVE almost everything in this store from the surf shirts, to bathing suits, to hats, cool drink cups, towels, trinkets...I could go on and on. This shop is super clean, well stocked, and the staff are so helpful. The Ron Jon's here in Clearwater has a smaller shop for ladies apparel right next door the to main shop. If you're looking for cute beachwear, look no further. Darling suits, coverups, board shorts, jewelry, hats...almost anything you can imagine. There is nowhere like this Ron Jon's --unless of course you're heading to Cocoa Beach or Key West. You'll definitely want to check them out too. Instead of being a kitschy tourist trap surf store it is actually selling quality gear and branded merchandise! And yes they sell the sickest stickers. So fun to have the ability to spread local love with a groovy sticker. My favorite swimsuit purchases this past year have all come from Nekton. They have a decent variety for men, women, and even children! This is good because I wear a lot of children's clothes...especially shoes. In addition to being a cute boutique you can also rent toys from them! They only charge $30 for a 2 hour paddleboard rental, which is one of the more competitive prices I have seen. IMPORTANT: They let you do week long rentals as well! So you can rent bikes, boards etc... for 7 days for an insanely great rate. Now I am only reporting this information, I haven't actually used any of their rental services. But based on the customer service, the cleanliness of the store, and the overall cool vibes I am pretty confident in recommending them.

If you know anything about skating, one board can be completely different than another, so this is useless. Considering all the nuance (shape, length, flex, weight) that go into a longboard, it is insanity to think that a customer would drop $160+ (their lowest price) on something that they can't test on the sidewalk. In 30+ years of skating and surfing, I have never been to a shop that wouldn't let you test out such a big purchase. Leave this shop to the tourists and posers and spend your money somewhere that actually cares about the culture.

We went in, and golly -- I was hooked! Super cute styles that function almost as a capsule wardrobe, because nearly everything goes with nearly everything, and is made with a wonderful, performance jersey. I love that they have some things that are a bit longer than Lilly Pulitzer and others; there is a jersey skort, made from kind of a waxed cotton (not sure how it is categorized) that won't show your whole backside when you're golfing. They also carry a ruffled v-neck, sleeveless top in a myriad of colors and prints, that will get you around the "collared" shirt requirement on the course. My friend found a darling dress with a-line shoulders and lots of straps/cut outs, in a beautiful navy and green print. It was mine! Pricing is not "cheap," but neither is the quality, and you'll find it's a good bit less expensive than Lilly Pulitzer; Jean Pierre Klifa; Spartina; and other brands with similar colors; material; and quality. To me, that's value. Virginia helped us in the store, and she was very nice, very knowledgeable, and even offered to set back the kelly green linen jacket, because she suspected I would call back and want it -- and she was right!
