One of the friendliest, most helpful hard-core Surf, skate and fly fishing shops on God's great planet Earth. What Jacob has built in this community is more than just wood, foam, fiberglass and feathers. It's a gathering place for everyone and anyone that loves Sarasota or the Florida lifestyle. Sal in the fishing department took great care of me during the purchase of a new fly rod. His recommendations were spot on, he was very friendly and professional, and he set it up perfectly! Great shop with a wide variety of goods tailored for the skater, surfer or fly fisherman. if you are just looking for a t-shirt to remember you trip they have a lot of cool designs and fun styles. Jacob and his staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking. for a local guide to take you out a go fly fishing they can set you up for a memorable trip. read more

By far the best board shop in the area. Great selection of skate and surf boards as well as a huge choice of beach clothing. The people are super friendly and knowledgable and there is zero pressure to purchase anything. They also put on different events such as skate events in the back parking lot and summer camps (surf, skim and skate). Although this shop is the only one of its kind in the area, it would still hold it's own in a much more competitive market. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

Easily the coolest store in town. They carry big brands like Hurley, billabong, etc. but even better they have local brands and a bunch of awesome accessories, longboards, yeti's (the list goes on) Not to mention friendly, land back staff. Check them out, the compound doesn't disappoint! read more

I'm a 57 year old beginner skater....these folks hooked me up SO GOOD!! Knowledgeable, friendly staff have me on the way with a longboard and a skateboard...REALLY happy with this amazing shop! When I bought my skateboard, the young man who helped me was totally hearing what I wanted out of it, and made the best suggestions for the deck, trucks, bearings, wheels, etc...and he put the dang thing together for me right then and there!! This shop is THE BEST!! read more

My boyfriend and I took a skimboarding lesson from Benny today and it was AWESOME! He had an excellent method of instruction and broke it down step by step. Super professional, patient, fun, and worth way more than what we paid. I highly recommend the experience. We are adults in our thirties and it went well so I can't imagine how smoothly it would go with kids. If only I was young enough to go to the camps they have! Seriously just an awesome time and we appreciated what a great instructor Benny was. Thanks again! read more

This place rocks!!! I'm from Boston and I go to Sarasota often too visit my kids. We stop in at least 2 or 3 times when I'm there and buy some new kicks and skate setups for my oldest. The best selection on the east coast and without question the coolest and most helpful staff of any retail establishment I've ever been in!!! I'm counting the days till my next visit!! read more

So, in siesta key village it's the only good store providing visitors and residents on Siesta Key with what they want to enjoy the beautiful 8-mile beach and warm Gulf coast waters.
