I might like the Tarpon one a little better if for no other reason than the selection. I ended up having to go to Tarpon anyways to get the bushings I wanted. All good. Dude was helpful but not annoying like they can be at mall shops. He kept me from making a mistake with my set up too. I almost out 169s on my card, but the 159s were the right ones. Independent Hollows, son! I never owned a Santa Cruz board in the old days, but my brother loved em. I had been sweating the Dressen Rose Cross for a minute, so I grabbed one finally! They had Spitfires 80HD Chargers too, which I think are discontinued by the manufacturer. That's a bummer because these wheels are dope. I usually use OG Reed's bearings, but dude convinced me to try Super Red's. No regrets on that decision, either. It was a bit more, but I really dig the bearings they feel crazy fast & smooth. Might be the wheels too since I've been riding 99s for a while prior to setting this up. My sister in law got my brother some shoes and dude gave us a bunch of stickers. I promised I'd stick em on every cop car I saw while on vacation. Good looking out, Westside. I'll see y'all again next time.

Btw their logo is pretty cool-anyway he helped my son find his board and whatever stuff he needed with it was never pushy or pretentious. Give this shop a shot.

Cool shop here located in united skates on Armenia. A lot of selection and workers willing to…read moreassist. I believe Christine was helping me and she helped assess some used skates I got from play it again. After changing wheels/ bearings and adjusting trucks a bunch of times I realized the skates I got were duds. I finally decided to cop a fresh pair of quads here. She helped navigate the selection and we found these beauties with the perfect fit/style! After that I never left the rink again. I am looking forward to breaking these babies in! They were on sale for $200 so I think it's a good deal especially with the use I will be getting out of them. Side note United skates is a really fun rink been checking out all the locals

Store is new, just opened and located across the street from Kilwins. They have fitting rooms in the back where you can try on before purchase. Staff was friendly and helpful to the shoppers needing assistance while we visited.
