Then we tried the shaved porchetta sandwich which is house maded smoked porchetta shaved thing and piled with dijon and pickled fennel. Finally we tried the Beef Brisket sandwich which containe Smoked Brisket, Crispy Onions, Pickles, and Horseradish Aioli. Service was decent. Food came out a little slow considering that there was only us and one other small table in the restaurant. The armadillo egg was disappointing because it lacked flavour. It was large and hearty but could have used a lot more spice. The beef brisked sandwich was my husbands favourite while mine was the porchetta. Both sandwiches contained flavoursome meat with lovely sauces. We both chose fries with the sandwich and they were crispy and delicious. Atmosphere was Ikeaish. Minimal but got the job done.

I thought everything was just okay and meats were a bit dry (5/10) aside from one of the ribs on the platter which I thought were delicious. We had enough food for 8 hungry adults and had quite a few items left over. The apple pie was not bad, would've been even better if it came warm though. Our waitress was amazing! She was very helpful, kind, and attentive. She even noticed that we were celebrating a birthday and offered to bring us a dessert of choice on the house, even though the front host told us "they don't acknowledge birthdays". I was unsure about a drink flavour and she reassured me that if I wasn't happy with it, she would remove it from the bill. In the end I did enjoy my drink but it was nice to know that if I didn't like it that I wouldn't be tied down to it. The restaurant was pretty busy with lots of other larger groups. Prices are what you would expect at this type of establishment. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this area so plan ahead.

Tony made the rookie move of loading up on too much salads. Becauae meat skewers were outstanding. About 6 or 8 varieties each better than the last. And the classic roasted pinapple. the best.

It seemed a bit crazy to spend $65 per person and pay extra for other foods and drinks. We asked a friend for recommendations, and they suggested Fumaca to us. At Fumaca, it's $50 per person, and you can Order your pops for $4 with free refuel!! This offers much better value and a great deal - saving $15 per person for some extra drinks. The staff was friendly and provided good service without any issues. However, I'm not sure how they handle things during busy times. Last night was quiet and relaxed with not many people around. I saw their online menu which has chicken heart, and they don't serve around. So we asked, and they did it JUST for us!!!!. One thing to note, though, is that I could smell that the chicken heart might not have been cleaned thoroughly. They had to cut out the garlic shrimp as it wasn't available, contrary to what the online menu indicated - just a heads up. I recommend trying the pineapple!

I would estimate there were 3-4 dozen people in line the entire length of the store and then snaking along the back wall. Then the GF cafe seating area reassembled a Costco food court, not a seat to be found. The line to the GF Cafe/Deli counter also had about 2 dozen people waiting. Totally blocking the isle of GF products on the shelves.

First impression.. unlike the old location, there's plenty of parking .. and the neighboring businesses are closed on Saturdays so there's even more available. Second impression.. when you walk in , unlike the old place , it doesn't have that butcher smell .. though I love that smell. It's a lot roomier and everything is spaced out to walk by . They have a good variety in the freezers and even some BBQs for sale . The butcher counter has a lot to offer and everything on display looked great . They even have a dry aging cabinet so you can see the aging process. They also have a coffee bar and a few tables to enjoy some coffee and a snack . Everything was reasonably priced . And the store looks so much better . It's a new look but the products and service remains the same .
