Unfortunately, I fell for them and booked maid brigade to deep clean my house after I had been unable to for a few weeks. A couple of things to note: they charge hourly so they take their time "cleaning" just to make the cleaning cost go up. I paid $50 extra to have my refrigerator detailed and this woman was literally working in the refrigerator for 3 hours straight. While this drove up the price, the fridge was somehow dirtier than before!! I have an 1100 sqft house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and they charged me $575 to have it cleaned. This is insane. It also didn't even feel like it had been cleaned. I am expecting a baby and can't believe we wasted almost $600 on this. I implore you not to fall for this!!! Pictures included.

I can't say enough good things about Candice at Rockstar Cleaning. First, let me say that I don't…read moreknow Candice. I'm a legitimate customer who found her through yelp. We were moving out of our rental and into a house that we purchased. I needed to get as much of my deposit back as possible. We are a family and also have pets, so although I feel like I keep a clean home, the years of grime had built up and I was too busy getting the new house ready to spend hours and hours cleaning the old place. I contacted Rockstar and got a quote that was less than other companies I had contacted. She had a few good reviews and she was very responsive, so I booked with her. Well cleaning day came, and Candice showed up on time and ready to go. She spent hours cleaning everything from top to bottom to help us get our deposit back. The house looks great. And she didn't bait and switch! She stuck to her original quoted price. So refreshing to be able to count on someone. Thanks, Candi!

I told NYG this, and they said it would be no problem. And we had the whole house completely empty, no furniture or carpet or anything. They spent plenty of hours working here cleaning, and towards the end of the cleaning, I paid them and left because I had to go between locations. After the service and to this day, we continue to find spots they missed or cat hair in the closets, fridge, cabinets, and oven. Also, they told me I didn't request a deep clean in the kitchen cabinets, oven, or fridge. I thought a whole house deep cleaning move-in move-out would cover that? BUT past all that, the pricing was very affordable compared to competitors. So you get what you pay for. If you are looking for someone to do a cleaning just because, I think they would be a great choice for the price. But I just felt like they did not do well when it came to a completely empty house.

The smell was awful: I cried tears of stress every day coming home and only having time to clean the urgent areas only somewhat, had to rip up carpeting and trash bedding and blankets...It was overwhelming. But these ladies arrived, and deep cleaned the house that I cried tears of relief when I came home!!! It smelled fresh and inviting I will be using them in the future and recommending to all my friends! Do not hesitate to call on them for help! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! I texted Smith Bro's for a quote and sent pictures. They were honest with me about the fabric & how it may be difficult to get it fully white again. I appreciated that honesty. Once we set up an appointment, they tested a spot on my couch, first, to see if it would be worth my time & money. Again, they were honest that it might not come out to be as white as I would like. But I decided to give it a go & Jeremy (I'm pretty sure that was his name) worked diligently for 4 hours to try to get it as clean as he could. He did an amazing job! It looked SO much better once he was finished. Of course, they were right. My couch isn't bleach white anymore. But they were able to get many stains out & make it look so much more presentable. I'm thankful for the honesty & effort put into cleaning our beautiful couch. I will be using Smith Bro's in the future. Our couch is a large sectional & they charged $275 to have it cleaned & an additional $150 for the scotch guard product they use (only it's better than scotch guard). After receiving quotes from other companies, I felt this was a fair price as well. Highly recommend!

A few months ago I hired another service to do a deep clean with the intent of making it a more regular thing if I liked the work. But they were dismal! I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. The products they used smelled so strong and lingered for days, giving me a headache for a week afterwards. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power! She was extremely thorough and meticulous, cleaning things and areas I hadn't even expected her to. She even got stains off my oven that I had long given up on. She was very sweet and professional as well. The products she used did not smell bad and the scent was mostly gone by the end of the day. This will definitely be my go-to from now on when I need a little extra help.
