Unfortunately the current management is lax and doesn't supervise the park. So unless a parent steps up to direct kids, a lot of children get into accidents. The owner has an anger problem. He loves to start arguments and pick fights with people. He seems to enjoy belittling people and bragging about how much money he spends. Because he is often smoking pot in his trailer, he sometimes yells at people using his trailer's PA system. As of writing, the photos shown on this yelp page are inaccurate. The track was modified 3 years ago, and is about 2/3 the size of what the first few photos show. There is no longer any artwork on the track.

Signs everywhere saying you need to pay and have a helmet. I have come here dozens of times and shocked by people's behavior and then reactions when they get screamed at. People try to sue these types of places weekly and you wonder why they flop out when you walk right by a large sign...! The dirt park is pretty intense and it's rad to watch the guys shred. The paved pump tracks are awesome for all levels of biker and skater. I got to watch some 3-6 year old shred. Personally can spend a couple hours there easily and if it's slow all day as lines are endless. Sign a waiver and pay 5$ .... a coffee is more. I couldn't believe it was so cheap. They have board and bike rentals again 5$ per hr.

I finally had a chance to visit it on a Wednesday evening after work. The Battery was formerly known as the Battery Park. It's a historic park that overlooks New York Harbor. It also provides amazing views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the waterfront! The battery is approximately 25 acres. You can also visit some of the national landmarks using the ferry located at the Battery. One of the features at the Battery is Castle Clinton. It is a circular sandstone fort build in the early 1800s. Castle Clinton functions as a national monument and a visitor center at The Battery! While I was exploring the Battery, I also stumbled across the SeaGlass Carousel! It was such a beautiful ride, It features illuminated fish sculptures! The park also has a variety of gardens and playgrounds! During the year, there are seasonal events, performances, and other programming! Make sure to check out the Battery website for the list of events! If you want to visit the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island, you can purchase tickets online with the pickup at The Battery! If you're visiting the Financial District, I'd recommend stopping by The Battery! It has a lot of great activities!

These include, though aren't limited to: Sledding, cross country skiing, making all manner of snowmen/forts/snowballs/snow angels, snow tubing, snow plowing and shoveling the streets and walkways, defrosting your fingers and toes, admiring the winter scenery. One of the best things about CP is that it's open daily, year-round. On one very very cold Saturday afternoon when we got about a foot of snow, I ventured out in sub-freezing temperatures, and was surprised by how many people (thousands!) were playing in the snow. I had never seen CP so crowded, not even on warm sunny days! Not only families with children, it seemed everyone healthy and active enough to participate was out and about. How many people had sleds too!* That being said, one suitable aspect of CP is the many hilly areas so if you had a sled, you were in luck, with much fun to be had. On your next snow day, GO PLAY! *Considering it hadn't snowed more than a few inches annually the past few years I wasn't sure where people either had space to store, or how they were able to procure sleds at such short notice.

No just kidding all jokes aside and this is one of the most interesting parts in the city and one of the few places that you will lots find green open space. There are lots of common walkways and running trails for you to get your fitness in if that's what you like to do and for kids there are several playground areas in and around the park. It's the perfect place and change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city. And what I find most interesting about Central Park is that no matter how many times you come here, it always seems like you'll find something different about it from the last visit. The sights, people, landscape and everything around it changes with each day or season. That's the beauty of the park that I like most.
