It has been a very pleasant shopping experience at sure shot. Melody has been super helpful with clarifying my questions and made it easy for buying and transferring. Everyone I have interacted at the store has been friendly and willing to help. I would definitely recommend this store to anybody. Thank you! Sean K. read more

The owner put my background check in incorrectly, followed by putting a second check in illegally. Now I have a mess to clean up. I also did not appreciate her snide comment (reaction) to her own mistake. She was rude and lacked knowledge. Would recommend not dealing with this shop. read more

Sure Shot Guns & Pawn - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Kittitas, Washington

I was looking to trade-in two pistols and purchase of a new Chiappa pistol. Melody was highly responsive to my inquiries and upon visiting the shop, Melody was extremely helpful in making this transaction happen with ease. Melody was honest and very fair with both the trade-in and the purchase of the new gun. Despite living in Seattle, the quick drive to Ellensburg/Kittitas was well worth it. Melody and Sure Shot is second to none with the friendly and upstanding service offered. read more

Hands down the best gun shops I've ever been to. Not only did they repair my rifle, but they helped me upgrade some parts and also sighted my new optic in. They're incredibly knowledgeable and kind people, cannot recommend them more. read more

I wanted to send my brother a hand gun for his birthday. I live in Ellensburg and he lives in Tennessee. I had no knowledge of the process on how to do that. I only knew I couldn't ship it myself. I heard about SureShot from a friend so I decided to give the store a call. Melody answered the phone and she was so great! She knew exactly what to do and how to do it. She walked me through the process while being kind and patient with me (concerning my lack of knowledge.) She contacted the shop in Tennessee right away and sent the FFL. I then came in and she packaged up what I had, called the post office for a price and shipped it! She even texted me a picture of the receipt and tracking number! It arrived 3 days later and my brother is now thrilled to have it! Outstanding customer service from very knowledgeable and helpful staff. You better believe my next purchase will be from SureShot. Thank you Melody! read more

I recently completed a transfer using the services of Sureshot and I could not be more pleased with the friendly, professional service. Melody was an absolute pleasure to work with; very thorough, a great communicator and genuinely friendly service . I had some time and couldn't resist window shopping; they have a great selection of handguns and long guns. A very nice retail gun store with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of merchandise. I will be back. read more

Friendliest people in the valley. Family owned and run business with tons of return customers. I would go out of my way to shop there even if their prices weren't competitive (which they are). Helpful and knowledgeable staff that will go the extra mile to make their customers happy. 5/5 read more

Don't deal with these folks. They cost me $200 by underpricing my pistol and then they told me the pistol hadn't sold so I sold it myself for $200 more then they said it was worth. When I told them that I had sold the pistol then they said it was sold but two days before they told me it wasn't sold. I don't trust these folks at all. beware read more

I recently had a wonderful experience at Sure Shot. I am an out of towner and was on an archery hunt for Elk nearby. On Saturday morning my bow broke. My hunt was over. I packed my gear and came down from the mountain headed for home. Driving through town I noticed the shop and thought maybe they could repair my bow. Todd looked at it and told me it was toast.....boo hoo. He then, not knowing me from Adam said " grab that new bow off the wall and see if it fits". I did and it did....He then said" get back up in the woods. Bring it back when you are through".....Wow! I was and am still dumbfounded. That's way beyond good customer service. I am so impressed by the attitude and actions of the owner that I have told all of my friends. This is my promise that whenever I need a new bow or firearm I will make the trip to Kittitas and Sure Shot to make that purchas. The world could use more Todds. read more

If I could give more stars I would. I found them off the internet and I saw that it was family owned which is a huge plus in my books. I have only been in once but, I am so glad I stopped by. This family run operation is a great place to do business with. Todd, Melody and Cody are the greatest people to deal with, friendly and helpful in every way. I have purchased new and used firearms from them, have sold some on consignment and have also had them receive items requiring a FFL license. They have a good variety of sporting goods and sell/receive items for pawn or trade in on other items. I ran across their shop when my kids were attending CWU in Ellensburg and have considered them "my gun shop" ever since. I appreciate the personal touch I receive by being a repeat customer, dealing with people I know who know me too. I feel it is worth the 3 hour round trip to deal with Sure Shot, as opposed to the stores here in the Tri-Cities, where no one knows you, won't deal with you and the guy behind the counter is different each time you go in. Having a gun shop that will talk to you as a friend, give you their honest opinion and fair deals has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Sure Shot to all my friends that hunt and target shoot. Many thanks to Todd, Melody & Cody! read more
