Jerrol's has a complete line of hobby products. Scale models, RC cars and trucks and also rockets. The gentleman there was very instructive on the rocket information I needed to get started. I'd never done it before. He suggested an alternative to my original selection of products which ended up saving me money. Jerrol's also has a nice selection of foods, products, art supplies and much more. Its a small town feel type of establishment and everyone so far has been informative and friendly. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Just recently moved back to Ellensburg after 10+ years of living on the west side and happy to see that my favorite store is still standing strong! Love to see that they expanded to add on Winegars since the last time I was in (Happy 10 years!). Was very pleasantly surprised to notice my rewards account from when I was in college was still in the system! Glad they didn't delete me and I'm able to start earning rewards! Just have to update my last name and address which I'll do next time! Loved all the new product selection and so excited for my kids to start shopping here! Only downside was employee was a little rude. Not sure the reason, but I was trying to haul three noisy kids who wanted ice cream through the store so maybe I just hit a nerve with her. She ended up leaving our transaction half way through to answer her cellphone. None the less I'll make sure my kids are more well behaved next time we come into the store- which will be soon! I have tried to come into the store to talk to a manager and told not one available and they would call me I have called twice and was just put on hold first time for 5 mins and disconnected today for over two minutes. So I filed a DOJ complaint. They don't have valid disable parking signs to make their disabled spots valid. My complaint wasn't even about them to start with it was to get the Ellensburg post office mail person to quit blocking the disable parking spaces every day! the eburg police will not write a ticket because it's not signed disabled parking. All I was going to do was ask to have proper signs installed but never get a call back or talk to anyone at Jerrods. read more

This is quite the fun little store! Attached to Winegars Ice Cream, it May be the perfect spot to grab general store-esk stuff and then a treat because you were good! It's hard to pin down exactly the type of store they are. At your disposal are tons of calendars, school supplies, CWU paraphernalia, kitschy coffee mugs, model planes, art supplies, a huge kids section with sciency and wooden toys, lots of books and a large section of books for non-kids (adult books sounds icky!). They've also got teas, coffees and higher end chocolate. We found a good amount of things we didn't know we needed and found the gals working here to be quite nice! They have a couple small displays with antique farm and general store items as well. The learning never stops! Whether a student at central or just coming in for once cream across the room, you'll probably find something you like here! read more

I was only looking for a couple of things and I have been here before, but I was pleasantly surprised when the sales associate "Sage" greeted me and asked me if I needed help with anything. She talked to me about what I was going to use the paper for and was genuinely sweet and friendly. In just a few minutes she made me feel welcomed and heard. They held my paper for me while I grabbed gift cards from Winegars and we joked about it when I came back. Gotta love small town businesses. read more

Jerrol's is a small town office supply store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are happy to special order an item for you. They call and let you know when the item has arrived for pickup. My wife and I like to shop locally and support the independent business owner. Jerrol's is our go to place for office supplies. While there, check out Winegars next door. Their home made ice cream is wonderful. My wife is the coffee drinker in our family. She enjoys Winegars coffee also. read more

I just moved to Ellensburg but I really love this store! I know it's mostly for students and has a lot of textbooks, but it also has lovely high quality toys, plenty of good books, and even gifts for every holiday. I like the high quality art supplies since I have a budding artist at home. They do a monthly storytime for children with stories and live music too. Sometimes in a burg that's as small as, well, The Burg it's hard to find what you need in our local stores and shops. That is not the case when it comes to Jerrol's. They have a fantastic selection of office supplies, books, crafting goodies, and a kid's section that is filled with quality fun toys. And if they don't have exactly what you're looking for, just ask one of the friendly employees for help and they are amazing with ordering what you need. Twice I've needed something very specific for a gift that Amazon couldn't ship to me in time and the folks at Jerrol's got it in the next day AND it was cheaper than Amazong. Double win, no make that a triple as with my purchase I got to support a local mom and pop store. And the addition of the Winegar's next door, come on people, what more could you ask for?! I went to Jerrols to get some art supplies for a class at cwu. I had my list in hand looking lost. The owner of the store helped me find everything on my list. Every time I have been into Jerrol's help is easy to find and friendly. They have competitive prices, a good selection of art supplies for the size, support the community and now are offering classes in The Room. I participated in a Zentangles class today and found the class and the instructor enjoyable and worth the cost, which was fair, at that. I look forward to more classes at this great local Ellensburg store. After the class, I was asked by the owner about what other classes and offerings I'd like to see. Jerrols has whatever art supplies, writing supplies, gift ideas, printing supplies, creative gifts for children, paper supplies, or books I need. And if they don't have the specific item, they'll offer to order it. The staff are friendly, willing to help, and provide excellent service. I much prefer going to a local business than searching all over a huge store for the item I need. Parking at Jerrols is a big factor for me. I know it'll take just a few minutes to run in and pick up the items I need. There's no need to park a large parking lot away from the store, then walk to the farthest part of the store only to find that the item you're looking for isn't stocked. Jerrol's is definitely worth going the one block off-campus to get to. Their prices on used textbooks are significantly lower than the campus bookstore. I also received very friendly and helpful assistance from Jerrol's employees, something that I can't say about my experience buying textbooks on campus. I encountered one instance of a new edition of a textbook I needed that Jerrol's didn't have in stock, but aside from that I certainly recommend checking them out. read more
