Part of the piping was underground, beneath roads, and part was above ground secured on concrete posts. After I showed him pictures and videos of the damage, he promptly scheduled to come over at noon to start the repair. He understood the urgency, since I had to turn off the water to prevent further damage. He arrived on time and as promised! I could not believe it! In my experience, they usually say they'll come over in a span of 4 to 5 hours, only to arrive in the last hour. But not this company. No waiting and wondering for hours about when they'll arrive! I thought the repair was not simple since it involved replacing a meter valve and a couple of pipe fittings. But he finished it in less than an hour. I thought the work done was excellent. From the time I called in until he finished the repair, it only took 4 hours. I've never seen such a fast response, punctuality, quality of service like this company. It's amazing. Thank you!

We ran into an unexpected surprise during a small home remodel in San Jose -- we were suddenly told we needed a new fire sprinkler system. After calling a couple of other sprinkler contractors, both told me I'd *have* to upgrade my water meter, which San Jose Water quoted at around $18,000. :O Then I found Bayview Fire and spoke with Edgar. I sent him our building plans, and he personally came out to the house to take a pressure reading off our hose bib. He double-checked everything with his Designer and confirmed they could make the new system work with our existing ¾" water meter. No upgrade needed- which saved us a huge amount right from the start. The design was turned around quickly and approved without issue. Edgar made sure to plan ahead, knowing our tight timeline, and even scheduled the inspection in advance so that once the work was done, we could immediately move forward. His attention to detail and sense of urgency made all the difference. The pricing was very fair -- especially considering the money he saved us, the speed of the job, and the professional service. Thanks to Edgar and his team, we were able to finalize the project and avoid further delays caused by an oversight in our architectural plans. I also own a few small commercial properties around Silicon Valley and have since started using Bayview Fire for all our sprinkler testing and inspections. Couldn't be happier. If you want honest, knowledgeable, and responsive service call Bayview Fire Protection. Edgar is the real deal!

After the drywall was removed and the leak was discovered, I requested quotes through Yelp. Mark was the first to respond. I sent him a picture of the leaky pipe joints and he knew exactly what needed to be done. His quote was reasonable for Bay Area prices. He came by that same night with another employee, went right to work, and did a very professional and efficient job. They left the area clean and tidy. Payment was also an easy online transaction. Fellow Yelpers, if you're not aware of industry prices for contract work, remember we are in the age of AI. If you're handy and can at least trouble shoot and are aware of the exact work that needs to be done, whether it's car mechanical issues, electrical or plumbing projects and repairs, ask Google for industry standard prices for that specific job. Google will give you a range in costs. Bear in mind that CA (especially the Bay Area), parts and labor for any contract work will always be on the higher end of the range since cost of living here is higher than other parts of the nation, but knowing is half the battle. You don't want to fall victim to price-gouging, or suckered into paying something completely unreasonable, so at least educate yourself on what the acceptable cost is for a specific repair in your area.
