There were only diners at two other tables in the restaurant at 1:00 pm so not sure what the rush was to order. A man returned (he may have been the manager or owner) to take our order and I joked with him that we were getting back-up support for our server. We placed our order and our original server returned to check on us. It was way too watery and had virtually no flavor on its own. Thankfully, I said yes to the jalapenos, so it had some flavor but not enough to make up for the watery texture. Cheese dip should be creamy, not watery. The chips were crispy and the salsa was good. My husband's margarita was tasty. I had the cheese quesadilla, which was good. I wish they had added a bit more guacamole and sour cream on the side as the dollop of each was too small to enjoy with the whole quesadilla. The guacamole was fresh and tasted like it had been made in-house but I wish there had been just a tad more of it given. My husband had the plantains, which is a strange thing to see on the menu for a Mexican restaurant but he was happy about it and enjoyed them.
