Everything was explained clearly before it was done and there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. The lidocaine gel numbed the area beforehand where probe was inserted. I cannot emphasize enough that Doctor takes time to explain and is a good listener too! A few weeks back I had the opposite experience with another Urologist at the same Mtn. View location who dismissed the problem I had, arguing that it didn't exist and it was probably only a UTI. I left that appmt feeling despondent and told my Primary care, who took me seriously and made an immediate referral to Dr. Seufert. If you are looking for someone who is friendly, professional and diligent to find whatever problem you have, he will dig (pardon the pun) deep enough and you will know with certainty what your diagnosis is. He is already referring me for further assessment for an MRI. I was seen due to Red blood cells in my urine lab tests several times, which are not a UTI. The prep time for a cystoscopy and all the questions from the nurse take about 15 mins. but the actual procedure took maybe 5 mins., during which time Dr. Seifert tells you what he is seeing on the monitor. My test involved looking up urethra into the bladder. My close friend who is also my caregiver was able to sit in during the procedure and watch everything on the monitor, which was not visible to me since it was above my head. Since you are covered with sheets, etc. you will still have modesty. Dr. Seufert has excellent bedside manner, and guaranteed to put you at ease! I had a plate put in my wrist to stabilize my radius after a shattering break. I have a few key…read morethings I want to point out about Dr Roberto Diaz and his staff. 1. I was seen at the ER Friday night and he and his staff got me in the following Monday morning. I didn't have to suffer waiting for help. 2. He had a ct done and me back in his office that same day. 3. Due to my wrist being swollen severely he did not push for surgery on the breaks until he was absolutely certain it was necessary. 4. He made sure he was able to check on my wrist and the swelling the following Friday, so little delay. 5. Seeing that the break was not stable enough to maintain he scheduled me for surgery just 4 days after. He cared about helping to make sure I got this fixed fast to limit complications. 6. Surgery day he got backed up in other surgeries. He did NOT make me sit there and wait with no idea why the delay, he made sure I was updated on the time situation. He apologized profusely and was completely compassionate and caring about my feelings during this time. 7. He explained EVERYTHING!!! Not just a docs way of medical language and limited way of making sure I understood like so many doctors like to do. He made sure I fully understood all aspects and even the future care of my wrist. I highly recommend Orthopedic surgeon Doctor Roberto Diaz at PAMF Mountain View. He is absolutely amazing.

If you've been through the wringer with hypo and or Hashi's and have begged doctor after doctor for help only to be left basically untreated as I have in the past, you know exactly what I mean and how painfully rare it is to be listened to, validated, and believed. If you're undermedicated and still highly symptomatic despite being told by other doctors that your levels are "within the normal range" (lies!) or that it's "all in your head," go see him. He will actually really help you. What's more, Julie, one of the nurses, seriously went above and beyond for me when my husband changed jobs and our insurance tried to revoke coverage of my most expensive medication. Why? Because my symptom had dissipated (precisely *because* of this medication) so according to the insurance company, I "didn't need it anymore." Meanwhile this is something I need to be on for life. I've never had anyone in an admin position at a medical center or hospital go to bat for me the way Julie did, ever. She fought the insurance company with everything she had. She filed the appeal for me, called me frequently with updates, and successfully petitioned for them to return my coverage. I now get this essential and very expensive medication for free all because she wouldn't stand for forcing me to become symptomatic again in order to receive the care I needed. Once again, I find myself in shock that I don't have to fight for treatment and I don't even have to fight the insurance company. I can relax and focus on my health and recovery. The office responds to any questions I have on the patient portal immediately and it is clear that Dr. Kaye and his staff truly care about their patients. I can't recommend this practice enough. If you even think something might be off with your thyroid, make an appointment ASAP. You won't be sorry!

I was excited to take charge of my healthcare and find a PCP who would be invested in my health at this stage of my life. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The doctor had little to no bedside manner. After our first appointment, I assumed she might have been having a difficult day, but the same pattern continued at nearly every visit. Appointments were typically very brief--often only 3-4 minutes. I was usually greeted without a smile, received short answers to my questions, and rarely got explanations about my care or treatment options. Visits often ended abruptly with, "We're all done here." I also felt that my interest in preventive healthcare was dismissed rather than encouraged. It seemed as though concerns were only taken seriously if they were severe or urgent, rather than focusing on maintaining long-term health and wellness. I understand that primary care physicians have demanding schedules and many patients to see each day. However, healthcare is a service that patients pay for and rely on. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their care. In my experience, there was very little effort to provide a positive patient experience or build a doctor-patient relationship. Overall, I found the interactions unfriendly, uncomfortable, impersonal, and unprofessional. She seems checked out. I know this doctor has many positive reviews, but it appears that much of her patient base may consist of older adults or patients with more serious medical conditions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend her to younger adults seeking a primary care physician for long-term, preventive-focused care.

I don't know who Sharon S. is, but reading between the lines it sounds like she did or said something out of bounds during her visit and Chris gave up on her. If you read her reviews it appears she has had this problem with other service providers, and has handed out a lot of bottom scores. Chris doesn't provide psychiatric help for manic adolescent princesses, which is probably why things just didn't work out for her. Please disregard Sharon S's review. Chris is great.
