ESP Painting Interior & Exterior Painting - After kitchen is painted, much brighter!

ESP Painting Interior & Exterior Painting

They worked really hard the whole time and were perfectionists about quality. I had a hiccup with my job -- I had a big sticker on my closet doors and it took off paint when I removed it! Jeff worked out a solution with me, to take the doors off-site and sand them all the way down. I appreciated that he didn't charge me full price since it was an unexpected cost. I also had a hiccup with a door that wouldn't close properly after painting. (It was probably a very tight fit before painting). This door also needed some off-site work to shave down the top, so it would close correctly. The team came back on a Saturday morning to bring me the restored closet doors. These little pain points come up with lots projects. You need a company that will take care of things when everything doesn't go perfectly. ESP will make sure everything is taken care off.

He said the two people who had painted my house had only been with the company for 2 months and was sorry for the miscommunication. I just got done at Sherwood-Williams because after the gutter touch-ups, my paint can looked pretty beaten up. They were happy to give me a new can. When I went pour the paint into the new can, I was surprised find two paint rollers in the paint can.

Sisu Painting - Bathroom remodel using the existing cabinets. We painted the vanity dark and tub wood white. This updated the style and work with the design

Excellent, friendly, professional, and quick!…read more We hired Sisu to paint several rooms in a home we purchased in the fall of 2020. From beginning to end, we experienced quality service. They communicated their process and what to expect very clearly, and they were very responsive to all of our questions and needs. Jason and Jesus did a great job and were very considerate and professional the entire time. I work from home, and barely noticed they were there! We've had several bad experiences with other contractors in the past, so I can't overstate my gratitude for the Sisu crew. Exceptional and quality service, we highly recommend!

In the last couple of years however, I have been working from home more often & the drab colors were really bringing me down. Time to paint & brighten things up! Everyone on the staff I worked with, (Ashleigh, Chelsea, Derek, & Wesley) were incredibly kind, helpful, & professional. Nancy, one of the co-owners came to work with me on color choice. She is a bit pushy & I felt a little pressured to make a decision. I had an idea for color in my head & luckily that's what I ended up with, but I wish I were a little more independent. Cylina, the other co-owner did a couple walk throughs as the project was wrapping up. The contract states that a supervisor will do a complete walk through at the end of the project. Cylina came out the day before the project finished & didn't even fully go into the room. (I had a baby-gate up to keep the dogs out.) I had to call & request another walk through so I could point out some things that needed to be fixed. I feel that had the walk-through been done at the completion of the project as stated, there wouldn't have been a need to call for another. Pricing. Nancy claims that they are. "Hands down, the best painters in the city." The painters are great, I will fully acknowledge & praise them, but they should also state they are pretty much the most expensive painters to hire. I had a couple of different bids I had narrowed it down to; I chose Sisu because I was sold on the promise of impeccable workmanship & professionalism. Yes, my painters were awesome, however, there were 2 return visits to correct some "spots" that didn't look quite right. They were timely, sending the painters back the next day and everything was perfect at the end. In hindsight, I can't pick out anything that made a huge difference compared to others. Both made the same statements for work to be done. Both claim to use high quality paints & tools (which Sisu did). Both have guarantees & warranties. I will say the painters that came were amazing. They were friendly, they asked my opinion as the project progressed, they pet the dogs when they came & went from the house, & they didn't make me feel that awkward feeling g you can get when people are doing things in the next room & you're just hanging out in your house. It was a great experience overall, but with their prices, they should offer discounts on future projects or something to have more repeat customers. I think I may try the other painter for my next room project. Soon I will need the exterior of my entire house done with trim & I know I will not be able to afford Sisu's pricing for such a large project. The painting of one room was nearly $3K. But hey, some people have way more money than me.

Two Brothers Painting - Pressure washer damage, before being painted

Juana was very easy to communicate with and gave us a rough estimate with the pictures we sent. Pablo met us at the property where we added on some additional trim work and patching which they were able to take care of for us. They showed up the day they were scheduled to start and finished the project within a few days. I'm very particular about clean trim lines and their work met my standards. We will definitely hire them again!

For the most part, I was impressed with their professionalism, courteous workers, and timeliness. However, I was really disappointed when I realized they had overused the pressure washer on our wooden handrails, resulting in several chunks of wood being removed. After walking around, it seems like our unit got the worst of it, which is disheartening. What made the situation even more frustrating was when an employee insisted that the damage wasn't caused by the pressure washer. He then told me his boss would be there in a couple of minutes to discuss the issue, but after waiting for over 30 minutes, no one showed up. I don't recommend companies that handle concerns in this manner. I have sent an email to the HOA to address this, but I'm leaving this review to express my disappointment with how my concerns were dismissed. It's not the kind of service I expected. Update: The Two Brothers' manager representative showed up an hour later and was speaking with the president of our HOA outside my front door. When I came outside, I overheard that they are going to replace the handrail. I then had to ask for an apology on behalf of the employee who had completely disregarded me. I might not be the president or a board member, but you wouldn't have a board or a president without a community of residents like myself who pay a monthly fee for services like this to take place.

It's even better when the owner personally comes out to make sure everything is 100% perfect for you! I realize that just about anyone can put paint up on a wall, it's the finishes that make a painting…read morecrew truly professional and the finishes were sorely lacking on our whole-house interior painting job earlier this year. This was an empty house mind you. Two months later I am still cleaning paint off of my floors, trying to remove paint from windows, trying to remove TAPE left under paint on windows, fixing places where Christians crew literally ripped towel racks out of the wall and did a shoddy patch job, where his crew drilled another towel rack back into the wall and right into the sliding wood panel door tucked behind it. There were sections of wall left unpainted, paint left all over one of our bathroom fixtures. Just generally obvious that Christian did not really care about the quality of the finishes on his work. He said he did care though, and offered to come back for touch ups, half of which he blamed on whoever had painted the house interior ten years ago and the others he did spend time addressing - but even in the short time he was here for touch ups he got paint on our shower curtain and dropped paint multiple places throughout the house. I feel like if a professional painter is finding issues during a major project they should communicate and offer fixes plus cost to client to do so - but no - these guys just painted right over everything as it was and hoped we would not notice - including the damage they did to our walls ripping our those towel racks. He offered to come back again when I found more issues throughout the house but honestly I don't want him in my house bc the work is so haphazard and sloppy. I did have him pick up a door that was painted very poorly and left with tons of raised bubbles all over it -like no one noticed that? He said he would paint the door and get it back to us quickly but weeks of excuses and messages that made it clear he had passed the fix off to someone else even though the language he used was that HE was doing the fix. All in all just unprofessional and frustrating. I don't know if what we paid is relative to the level of service we received bc I've never hired a pairing company before but I feel like I got the bad end of this deal and I would not hire this team again. Three stars because the large portions of painted wall they did early on look great. They obviously got bored. Lazy, or distracted as the project continued.
