Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin. Her work was pretty good as the shellac was smooth and didn't get any on my cuticles or skin. She made sure to check my nails were evenly shaped compared to my other hand. I also liked their colour selection. Happy I found a new nail place I like!

Manicure was worse because I had a HORRIBLE infection on my left hand ring finger that won't go away, no matter what I do. Not to mention polish chipped after one day...worst mani/pedi ever Place was absolutely filthy. Stay far away. UPDATE: went in and saw the owner. She asked me who did my mani/pedi and when I could not tell her she gave me an even harder time. Telling me I was giving her employees who are new immigrants hard time. First off DO NOT PULL THAT CARD WITH ME. A lot of my friends are immigrants and I do not have a racist bone in my body for anyone. Than had the nerve to tell me I needed to bring her a doctors note ... are you kidding me??? You want me to go back to the doctor pay $20.00 for a note and bring it to you to prove that I have an infection that you can obviously see with your own 2 eyes in your head. (See pics). She gave me a lousy $15.00 back for my manicure even though I have now paid $40.00 for drugs to fight an infection. She asked to see my foot which I said had been cut when I did my pedicure and because there is no mark left a week later she told me too bad...WOW You want an opinion STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE. They are rip off artists and I will be calling the Health Inspector to go in there. I have written proof (in the form of a prescription) and photo proof of a horrible experience and infection.

The ladies do a fantastic job shaping the nails, and offer to do 3 coats of opi polish while somehow still not making it appear "thick." They also give you a complimentary massage. It's only for a few minutes, but it's a nice addition!

The prices were reasonable, and Tracy discussed costs with me before proceeding. I went on a Wednesday evening, and it was busy, but walk-in customers didn't have to wait. Tracy also gave me some advice on my pregnancy and birth, which made the 1 1/2 hours go by quickly. I've been to many nail salons, but I definitely will be a returning customer to this salon! I did bio gel and the gel was too thick and the shape wasn't look good. I expected it will be better since you are charging more than other nail salon. My friend recommended me this salon and she said it was great and the price is same as the other salon that I usually goes to, but it wasn't. Walked in shortly after they opened and there were already 4 people inside, which tells you just how popular they are. However, that didn't stop them from fitting me in to do a shellac mani pedi. I very seldom get a mani pedi, so please forgive me if your opinion differs from mine in terms of their colour selection, but I'd they have over 100 colours for shellac which was overwhelming but nice because there's something for everyone for every season. I got my pedicure done by Tina and my manicure done by Amy. Both of them are very meticulous, gentle, and patient. They both took the habit of checking in with me to see if I liked what they had done so far, which I appreciated. While I am not very picky or particular, I could tell that both of them cared about making my nails look great. A few other things: - Like other yelpers have said, if you're looking for relaxation and a quiet ambience, this is not the place for that, though they have great massage chairs. - Located by Summerhill Station, you can imagine the clientele they get. I walked in in my workout gear after a 12h night shift and felt out of place with women in fur coats, expensive bags, and pearls. This didn't trump the service though, they treat you as a customer they aim to please. - Tools used are all individually packaged and they open them up in front of you. - Pay flat rate with cash, tax added for card payments. TLDR: All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, their service was great, and their price is competitive. I highly recommend!
