Great food and great service. This feels like a family atmosphere The restaurant is clean and comfortable.

My friends and I stopped by Supreme Chicken to grab a beer and get dinner. It took a while to get helped and sat so that wasn't great and once we sat down we didn't get helped for a while. We had to go up and ask to order after waiting a while. I will say that either the manager or one of the waiters was really apologetic about all that and for forgetting our birria so he gave us a whole other set of 3 tacos. That was really nice. The food itself was really good with unbelievable prices. I was surprised at how affordable most of the dishes were. The tacos were priced on par with all other places but the other dishes were much cheaper than a lot of places I went to with the same quality or even better. Supreme Chicken also has indoor and outdoor seating with a really nice patio to enjoy nice weather in. The ambiance of their patio alone would make me want to go there. They also have a private parking lot which is nice and somewhat rare in the Denver metro area. read more

I've been here twice and both times were enjoyable. Right on colfax. Street parking and a long row of small parking spots right out front. You walk into the ordering area and bar seating. They have a dining room with table service as well. The restaurant itself is no-frills and the servers are SO nice. Menu is really standard, priced well. Flautas were just okay. Would recommend carne asada tacos, quesabirria tacos, and my personal fave: the birria burrito. My burrito was loaded + had a crispy edge. Tasty salsas. My friend enjoyed her quesadilla but the sour cream comes in packets which I found odd. You can also get a full, half, or quarter chicken with sides. I brought home a chicken the first time I came here and ate it for the next two days. Full bar! They have a big dessert case which I'll have to take a peek at next time :-) Overall, not bad! Good place to stop for a quick bite to eat on Colfax. I shared an order of nachos with a friend. I asked the cashier what her recommendation was for a meat topping. Even though the name says "Supreme Chicken," she suggested the asada and it was delicious. The nachos had plenty of meat the right amount of cheese, topping, chip ratio. I never knew chicken could be this good. I give Supreme Chicken all the praises. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The beans were good too. We also enjoyed the tacos and quesadilla. The chicken is a must when visiting. The service was good. Our waitress was friendly, answered all our questions, and provided a few recommendations. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere. This place wasn't what I expected exactly...in the best way possible! I will definitely be coming back and bringing others! First of all, the service was AMAZING. The server made a point to serve us while we sat on the outside patio (even though no one else was sitting there) and was just a really sweet individual. We felt quite taken care of. The Taco Tuesday plate included 3 tacos + rice and beans. I ordered asada and cleaned the plate. It cost $10.50 which feels like a great deal and an appropriate price for what I was getting! I don't think you can get 3 quesabirria tacos as part of the plate, but it seems like you can do birria! The decorations in here made me laugh. We took a picture with the giant Modelo piñata. My son has been here before and wanted to take me here. I am so glad he did. I ordered a chicharron smothered burrito and it was delicious. I also had one birria taco and it was also very delicious. Just perfect. The food is incredible, from the nachos to tacos, burritos, quesadillas, everything. Especially recommend the adobada and birria. Tip: ask for a side of pickled onions, they are delicious and go well with everything. Service is kind and courteous when eating in the restaurant, feels like above and beyond. My husband was excited to show me the new place on Colfax that is walking distance from our house and has been getting good reviews. We were taking our Mole enchiladas to go, so we decided to have a beer at the bar while we waited. We ended up having a really nice conversation with the Owner (?) who was very friendly and excited to be in our neighborhood. The rest of the staff was really sweet and attentive. The mole enchiladas were delicious but would probably have been better if we'd eaten them there. The rice was delicious even after being warmed up at home along with the enchiladas. They have several big TV's and a full bar. We are looking forward to going back soon for Taco Tuesday or happy hour, we hear they make really great margaritas. We will be back! Wanted to try this as it's near a place we visit in the neighborhood and some people mentioned it was good. Over the past weekend, we actually tried it twice and unlikely to go back for a bit (if ever). Got take out both times - time to get food was fast and service was good. People that were inside (at the bar certainly) seemed to be having a good time. The first time I went simple and got two burritos - one birria and one steak. I thought the birria was good, but my partner said the steak was really tough. We both thought the rice in the burrito was delicious. Second time, since it's named "Supreme Chicken" - decided to try the chicken, so got a half chicken and rice and beans as the sides. The chicken was okay - a bit dry, certainly needs the sauce it comes with, but the rice and beans (sides) were above average . . . so maybe instead of "Supreme Chicken", it should be "Supreme Sides" ? read more

We love this place! We go there almost every Tuesday night for their Taco Tuesday special. 3 tacos of your choice, including Quesabirria, rice and beans for $10.50. You can't beat it! I'd seen Supreme Chicken take over the spot on Colfax and Grape, shrugging to myself, "We'll see how long this one lasts." Four restaurants have occupied this space since I've been a Denverite. This looks to be a keeper. The patio feels more open that when this was Hank's and the interior is sparkling clean. I took mi madre for a bite tonight. She used to live in Guerrero, MX, and took me to get roasted chicken 2-3 times a week there. Red chicken. Uniquely delicious. We've seen nothing like it on this side of the border. We got pretty darn close tonight. We split a half chicken that was appropriately rojo, juicy, and sabroso. Mom said it hit the spot like no other in decades. I'll agree that it's worth every penny. Refried beans bring a little spice and chorizo to the table. Win. Rice was fluffy and on point. Perhaps most stellar were the two tacos I got as an afterthought. Homemade tortillas were simply perfect. Asada was the best I've had in Colorado--most are either juicy or flavorful. This nails both. Adobada also did the trick. I'd order both again and again. While Mexican beer isn't my thing, I couldn't say to to a giant Modelo Negra. We got a huge glass of Jamaica that took us back 25 years and a few thousand miles southwest. My husband came home from his last visit to Denver raving about this place, so when we came this trip, we had to go. The name says it all- amazing chicken!! The beans are also well seasoned and a big step up from what you often see. I loved the added celery and veggies in the macaroni salad (another small elevation that made all the difference!) I also really enjoyed the sangria- and the heavy glassware probably keeps you from lifting too many! What was especially kind though was that they made my picky eater kiddo (who likes Jamaica but not this night) chocolate milk not on the menu. I ordered to go through uber eats, I've been to the other supreme chicken location on Chambers and that's always been good. So I'm glad to see this in my neck of the woods. I ordered steak tacos there, not the chicken this time around, but the tacos were delicious and flavorful.
