However, even though it claimed the order couldn't be processed, my card was charged seven times. It's unacceptable for an ordering system to reject an order while still authorizing multiple charges. Even more frustrating is the complete silence from corporate after I reported the problem twice--no acknowledgment, no follow-up, no effort to fix it. Customers shouldn't have to turn to Google reviews just to be heard. If your online ordering system has issues, fix them. And if customers report a billing problem, at the very least, respond. Based on this experience, I have very little trust in Smoothie King's customer service or their online ordering process. Update: While writing this update, I noticed that the personalized response to my review had been replaced--just 12 minutes earlier--with a generic message directing me back to http://smoothieking.com, the same website I've already contacted twice without receiving any response. Based on that change, I'm left to assume that corporate didn't approve of the original response because it actually provided a direct way to resolve my issue. Instead, it was replaced with a generic template sending me back to the very channel that has already failed to respond. That only adds to the frustration and gives the impression that resolving customer issues takes a back seat to managing public reviews. At this point, I've contacted Smoothie King through the official website multiple times, reached out using the email address I was originally provided, and updated this review. Despite all of that, no one has actually addressed the issue of my card being charged multiple times for an order that was never processed. I'm simply asking for someone to take ownership of the situation and provide a meaningful resolution. 2nd Update: Now you've removed the generic response as well. Fortunately, I took screenshots of every response before they were edited or deleted. This is becoming ridiculous. Instead of changing or deleting your public responses, how about holding yourselves accountable and actually addressing the issue? I've contacted corporate multiple times, received no meaningful communication, and now the only thing that's changed is your attempt to rewrite the public record. Your smoothies simply aren't good enough to justify this level of customer service. A company should stand behind its mistakes, not erase them.
