Leanna (I think that's her name) was doing whatever she could to make the customers experience the best. The man who sits next to her is absolutely hilarious and is so extremely knowledgeable about vehicles. The service was very prompt. My car even had some issues I didn't know about and one of the mechanics came to talk to me personally about it and showed me pictures to help me understand. I called ahead for an estimate and they were right on the money. This place will never take advantage of you. I have verbally recommended to so many people already! Also side note I am not originally from PA and back home my dad would always help me with car troubles. When I don't have that type of access available in Pittsburgh, it's so nice to find a place that will not take advantage of you because you're a clueless, young woman. This place treated me with respect and excellently explained all the questions I had. If you are worried about getting ripped off from a mechanic or don't have a lot of knowledge about your car troubles, this is the place to go!!! I recommend to anyone!!

Now this is how service should be done, and how all Pep Boys should be. If you checked my review of…read morethe Pep Boys in Cranberry, PA, you saw what a crappy experience I had, topped off with the worst customer service I've ever encountered anywhere. Now, I usually take my car to the Steubenville Pike Pep Boys, so the Cranberry thing was just a one-off because at the time I thought it would be more convenient as I was in the area and figured the service was good at my usual location, so why not elsewhere? Won't make that mistake again. Anyway, last weekend I took my car in due to some rumbling noise in the rear which I thought was due to a bearing. Turned out I needed my struts replaced. So Bob, ace Pep Boy extraordinaire at this location told me he could take $100 off with some in store coupons to buffer a bit of the cost as I would also need an alignment, which goes hand in hand with this sort of job. So I took my car back in today. They fixed the struts, but Bob informed me they found some other weird noise after that. I was a bit saddened by the news as this is a '99 Camry I'm driving with over 200,000 miles on it. Great car, still drives excellently, but these little repairs can add up fast. When I went to pick up my car and pay for the struts, Bob informed me that the other noise was being caused by the bushings, and that he just comped that for me, saying, "I just wanted to make sure it was 100% for you." Awesome. Just, fantastic in every way. I also got the discount that he mentioned the week before. So all in all, I was a happy guy, fully vindicated after the disaster that was my previous trip to the Cranberry Store. This is the Pep Boys you want to go to if you're in the area. The staff is friendly, they know what they're doing, and they're not there to just punch in and out and pick up a paycheck. Bob went out of his way to make sure I got service above and beyond what I expected just because he's Bob, and he's awesome. So take note, corporate heads of Pep Boys, this is a stellar store and one all your others should be modeled after. The Cranberry location can still eat it.

But that particular visit resulted with me not getting my brakes changed that day because they were honest enough to let me know that my brake pads were still good. I appreciate honesty and integrity which made it easier for me to return today and allow them to service my vehicle. Being upright goes far in my book and and as long as live in Pennsylvania they'll have a customer because of the. The brake job was performed properly and everything is going smoothly with my truck.

I got the truck back and the front end had so much positive camber you could visibly see it. When confronted they refused to rectify the alignment issue insisting that they aligned it while also agreeing that the camber was never adjusted, they never attempted to adjust, and also acknowledged that it could be brought into spec. They realigned the vehicle and charged me another $155 to do so which was more than the original alignment. The charge is for "adjust caster and camber for alignment". This work was literally spraying penetrating oil on the upper control arm nuts and loosening them. Jim was rude and vulgar while dealing with the issue. Buyer beware. CarSense is awesome! I was buying my first car after finally getting my license (at age 30!). My…read moredad has bought a few cars from the CarSense in Cranberry and always had a great experience, so he recommended I check the Robinson location out since it's closer to me. First, their website is super easy to use to help you see their current inventory and search/filter by make, model, price, mileage, and even special features. If you create an account, you can also save cars and come back to review and compare them later. They had several hatchbacks in my price range available. I called a few days before I wanted to come to the dealership and spoke with Jaison, who was super friendly and easy to work with. He talked to me about what I was looking for and even sent me a video of one of the cars I was very interested in. When I came out to the dealership, I wanted to test drive some alternatives. Jaison had told me he wouldn't be there when I was planning to arrive, so I worked with Jon, who was also very nice. Jon gave me three cars to test drive, and I ended up going with a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic. It looks brand new and has under 20K miles on it. I'm an idiot and forgot my checkbook at home, but Jon let me fill out all of the paperwork so I would just need to come back in the morning with a check. It took under two hours to test drive and choose a car and do the paperwork, and then 15 minutes for me to get it from them this morning. A few things to keep in mind: 1) They do NOT haggle. It's not what they do, and they're literally not allowed to do it. This isn't a bargaining thing; they just don't do it. So be prepared to pay the exact sticker price. 2) Their financing is based on the vehicle that you choose, so you can't apply before you choose a car. I ended up getting financing elsewhere because I wanted to have a check with me before I went.

It tookseveral phone calls just together through to the service desk. I made an appointment for 7 weeks in advance for the annual inspection. The inspection went well, I only needed one tire to pass, and they didn't have it in stock so I was asked to call back. Again it was impossible to get through to the service desk. I got a message to buy a medical device or it went straight to Car Shop Cranberry. When I spoke with someone at the Cranberry location. I was told they couldn't make any appointments for the Robinson service desk, and they couldn't transfer me to the Robinson service. The clerk said the Robinson shop phones "didn't work". I was going to go into the Robinson service area in person, but on the way, I drove by 5 tire stores. I'll make an appointment at one of those businesses for my one 129.95 tire. And Carshop has lost our entire family's business. We used to only buy our cars their and always had a great experience. Maybe 3 cars bought there in ten years doesn't mean anything to whoever changed Carsense to Carshop. But im not buying a car from someplace that doesn't have phones that work.
