This was not a couple of droppings in the corner, the entire floor, the tops of boxes, inside containers were all covered in mouse droppings. I reported it to the office attendant. He said they would sweep it up and set out a couple of traps. He was very unsympathetic or caring about our situation. We have three king size mattresses and box springs, numerous items of bedding, towels and other fabrics in the unit. They obviously covered themselves in the contract, but at least give a damn about our situation. $300 a month for two years and they will do nothing for us. We purchased insurance, but everything will be prorated and we will get very little compensation. When we ask to speak to a supervisor, the kid on the phone says" I am the supervisor". With our unit being infested, I'm pretty sure there are multiple units also infested as well. If you have items stored at Meathead, I would suggest you go inspect it. We are extremely disappointed with Meatheads attitude toward this issue, their unwillingness to contact anyone higher up, and basically their "we are not responsible" attitude. I'm sure this can happen at any storage facility, but for Christ's sake, at least act like you care.

Had to take them to court and they said sorry you signed the agreement that says we're not responsible for any rodents etc. do not do not store anything at this place! They don't take their business seriously! They have no problem taking the monthly fees without making sure they're providing a clean environment for all your personal items.

But when I tried to pay my bill, the website had been "improved", making it impossible to navigate. So when I called to office to get help, all I got was abruptness, condescension, and attitude. I'll be moving my things out of their overpriced facility the first chance I get.

Got me a unit upstairs and one day I was having trouble with the lock and he hobbled right up and like magic he had it opened. And he had just had knee surgery. And he had to up the stairs. He never complained. He is the nicest and most accommodating person I think I've met down here. If anyone needs a storage unit, I would highly recommend this place. They claim because it's a digital entry facility your items are more protected. But what are you supposed to do when it's management you need protection from. It trued to pay for my unit they locked me out of the website to make the payment. After they took over I was unable to see who entered and exited my unit or the gate. Just all of a sudden I was unable to see any activity when it came to my unit. I bluffed them when they were auctioning my unit off because I knew they were crook's. The day of the auction I sent a receipt of payment that wasn't real in hope I could give myself more time to stop them from their illegal actions. I was on the phone with them miniturs before the auction was to take place they confirmed they got the receipt and told me my unit wasn't going to be auctioned off. I made them confirm this via Email they still auctioned my unit off as I knew they would. So when I called a few days later I got the response I knew I would get they auctioned off my unit. Then attacked me about the receipt. I then told them if they knew it was fraudulant when hadn't they contacted law enforcement about it. But we both already knew they had long before the auction taken my unit. I was unable to find my unit anywhere on any storage auction site. Knew exactly what happened like the thieves they are they stole my unit took what they wanted and auctioned off the rest. This is how they operate. Do not use this facility your unit will unlawfully be entered by these individuals and they have the power to manipulate their own security system so that you won't even know they entered your unit.

They had several and took the time to show me the interiors so I could visualize and estimate which size I needed. Cleanliness was also important. I have beautiful furniture and worldly possessions that mean everything to me and so I didn't want to put them in a unit that was dusty dirty. I moved into it and it was spotless. I'm sure lot's of people got behind in one way or another... We offered to come make a payment on the account that day, and the rep told my mother the owner was out of town, and she would get back to us about the amount due. The next correspondence we get is from the owner telling us we've been locked out and the storage unit will be auctioned off.. Excuse me? We still have no idea what balance is due.. What kind of response is this for an owner to give a customer IN ANY type of business? I'll be contacting them myself, paying the balance due, getting our belongings out of there and spreading the word about their horrible customer service!
