They demanded more money before doing any more work. We requested a meeting and it was declined and they sent us notice of contract termination due to our non-payment of the final invoice. We we're left with structural failure and thousands of dollars worth of work needing to be done or redone. I have filed a complaint with the contract licensing board in Montgomery. Due to delays with the process new problems have come to light. A leak appeared in the roof on the addition which has now left a hole in the Sheetrock in the master bedroom. Also, while having the structural failure repaired we learned there were HVAC and insulation problems. In addition we learned when we had company from Thailand the HVAC system does not cool upstairs and the units both up and downstairs are not sized properly.

The representative we communicated with told us times that were not accurate. There were interruptions during the process, and then reasons were given that had nothing to do with us or the integrity of the business. There has even been things after the fact that the representative said he would do that has not been done yet. So I know you may be reading this and think it is a horrible review. It is definitely not, but as a fellow business owner, I know how important communication and integrity is. So beyond that, this is a great company. I think the overall value was good as well.

It took several weeks to get someone to come make the repair, but after a few days we realized they had not put on the topcoat because the area was rough and the rest of the floor is smooth. We contacted them again, but have not received a response or an effort to repair the issue, except to say they wanted us to leave the house unlocked for them to come on a day we weren't home. I assume they aren't responsible for the repair since we wouldn't accommodate that request.

After several calls and no one available for weeks, I Came upon Under 1 Roof, called and the owner Hayden was in the area, stopped by took a look and had one of his men come and patch the area (we had rain in the forecast). Called the insurance company they recommended replacing the whole roof. I called Hayden, he gave me an estimate that matched the insurance company's. They promised they'd have all work done in four days....maybe five. I was doubtful, but by the end of the first day, I could tell he was right. The team was quick, courteous, and the whole project was done in four days. Not only that but Clint helped work with insurance on my behalf to make sure all aspects were covered. He advocated for us to make sure it was all taken care of and took care of things I was overwhelmed in dealing with. He was way more help than our adjuster was. In 50+ years of homeownership I have never encountered a worse company than BDry. We paid them over…read moreten thousand dollars to encapsulate our crawlspace and $200 per year for three years to inspect it to be sure it was still in good waterproofed condition. Because I'm not able to crawl under the house to check their work, it was not until we had a leak in the kitchen and a water remediation company was called that I learned the truth. They took pictures of gaping holes in the plastic encapsulation with whole sections of wall that had no plastic. The plastic was just laid up next to the concrete block so that any moisture from the dirt below just traveled up the wall back into the crawlspace. BDry had cut a hole in the plastic encapsulation and dumped the water from the dehumidifier under the plastic onto the dirt below instead of putting in the sump pump we paid for. Probably because the sump pump was buried only 2 inches in the ground instead of being flush with the dirt. I doubt it worked at all. I could go on for pages but, hopefully, you get the idea. I have never felt so scammed by a company. We gave BDry a chance to fix the problems but they only added a few extra pieces of plastic and still left the dehumidifier dumping water into a hole they cut in the plastic. They did replace the broken dehumidifier because it was guaranteed. But because damp air kept recirculating round and round under the house I suppose it would've broken again pretty quickly. We only asked BDry for a refund of $600 for three years of yearly service to inspect for problems. To date they have not paid us. We had to hire another company to completely rework our crawl space. If someone had taken the time to write about their negative experience with BDry I never would've hired them and saved myself A LOT of money and heartache. Don't just walk away from BDry-RUN!!!
