I had high hopes for this place... mainly because of the awesome reviews and in depth research we…read moredid before bringing the vehicle in for service. I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. When I shared that I was interested in a new transmission and other work done, they gave me honest and transparent feedback (after doing a complete diagnosis) saying what I wanted done was not necessary; to save my money; and commented that there was a lot more life to my 4runner. I was astounded with that open and honest feedback because everytime I have taken my car to Toyota they kept trying to upsell me on repairs that would have cost triple what Five Star would charge. As someone who regularly maintained my vehicles I am acutely aware that after getting my car serviced there will always be a high probability that something else will fail especially with electrical parts. Needless to say, this business always provided me with transparent feedback on what needs to be immediately addressed; what can wait; and/ or what other options I have. This is why each and everytime time I am in Florida and my 07 4runner needs some TLC I will always bring it here. This summer was no different. I just picked up my Yota and am beyond happy with the work done (that Toyota two days prior failed to address) at the most reasonable price.

Keep in mind I just put new tire on my car a year ago and I mainly work from home. I questioned the guy on why he recommended new tires when I literally got them a year ago... he said the tread was bad. I left and went to a tire shop. They said my tires are great and I just needed an alignment done and to tighten lug nuts. Never had a problem since. I went there a second time( fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me), out of desperation. My car AC stopped working and needed someone to take a look. They looked at it and quoted me a couple grand to fix it .... (Which is close to the full value of my car). I went to a different mechanic , and explained my situation. He looked at the car and kept it overnight. Minor leak that was fixed, and I was out of there for $200. "Honest" 1 wanted me to get a new compressor and evaporator and more. Then whe I asked a breakdown of how much labor costs per hour, he said it varies.... I've never herd that before. I also had a loose bolt that connects the sway bar to the suspension I asked them to tighten bc of a noise and they said that wasn't it. I went home and tightened it myself and the noise was gone. I should have trusted my gut and never went back after the first experience but I usually don't judge a place with one visit. This time I wish I had. I would not recommend this place. Please do your research better than I did when picking a place to service your car.
