They also failed to deliver pieces of my second display case, leaving me short two display cases. To finish off, a box was missing, containing several seasons of dvd series. Hundreds of dollars, for which we weren't 'recommended against' getting the insurance as the owner made 'very clear', but it was priced just high enough to be very unappealing to purchase. The price of my broken/lost/stolen items? Just a little more or the same price as the insurance. Not happy. I have to spend several hundred more for replacements. Money I don't have. Go with someone else or make them pay.

Curtis was incredibly easy to work with--responsive and communicative. His thorough approach made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well-managed from start to finish. They did not even come to our home to give us an estimate; I had to FaceTime with them. The truck they used to load our stuff was not big enough, so they had to come back and work until midnight. The neighbors threatened to call the police. On another note, we paid serious bucks for the move and while submitting the payment we were kind of forced into leaving an additional 10% tip. My spouse told me that was the lowest pay option, and he is such a nice guy who can't say no. We are already paying for the labor, why do we need to leave a $600 tip on top of that? Also, to handle our furniture, they needed at least 5-6 people, but there were only three of them and they worked themselves to death. I feel bad for those three guys and it's not fair to them. FYI, if you need the company to hold on to your furniture, they also charge another $1000 for a week. I looked up other reviews for them and they are glowing with five stars. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Really, please let me know. Why did I have this experience???? Update: I talked to them on the phone and we were accused of packing extra after they gave us an estimate. Never in my life have I felt my credibility attacked this much. They delivered the remaining furniture very late in March We feel like they held our stuff hostage. Summary: Not recommended.

They were scheduled to do a…read morelocal move for us and when the owners son came to do the move from the minute I opened my door to him he was extremely rude using profanity that was very unprofessional and not acceptable behavior for a moving company or any one for that matter. After the owners son started cussing and using horrible profanity at me I immediately told him to leave I dont know if he had a hang over from the night before or coming off some illegal drug but his behavior was totally unacceptable. This is not a company that I want moving my furniture or even knowing where I am moving to. After feeling threatend by his behavior and that he would even think of treating or talking to a senior citizen lady like this I immediately called my husband and he hired a awesome company called Pacific King movers they were awesome and very professional hard working movers that went beyond what we expected and got the job done. Moving is stressful anyways so do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Affordable Loading Services as they are a joke as a moving company. The owner Marvin Liebert needs to fire his son immediately for his very unprofessional behavior as I will certainly tell anyone thinking of hiring a moving company to avoid Affordable Loading Services at all cost.
