He took the time to help me choose the right shingle color and even showed me photos of homes his company had completed using the colors we were considering. Those real-world examples were much more helpful than the manufacturer's online visualization tool and made the decision much easier. Rob and his crew were professional, thorough, and extremely efficient. The roof was completed quickly without sacrificing quality, and the cleanup afterward was outstanding. When they finished, the property was spotless. One thing that really impressed me was their integrity. After the old roof was stripped, an improperly flashed chimney-to-roof connection installed by the original builder was discovered. Rob brought the issue to my attention and corrected it at no additional cost because he wanted the job done the right way. That level of honesty and commitment to quality is hard to find. I highly recommend Rob and the team at Noreaster Roofing. They deliver excellent workmanship, stand behind their work, and truly care about customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

After lightning struck my house in early May and put a hole in the roof, I found myself…read moreunexpectedly thrown into the search for a reputable roofing company. My home is 105 years old and roughly the size of two standard Capes, so I knew this wasn't going to be a small or inexpensive job. I'm not one to make decisions lightly. I contacted four different roofing companies. One took over three weeks to get back to me with a quote, and only after I followed up. Not a good sign. The other companies responded promptly, with pricing in a similar range. But Nor'Easter Roofing immediately set themselves apart. From the very first interaction, Rob (the owner) took the time to explain the insurance process to me in detail. If you've ever dealt with homeowners insurance, you know how complicated things can get (especially with depreciation and recoverable amounts). Rob patiently walked me through all of it. He didn't just quote the job, he acted like a partner in the process! The job itself took two full days, and the crew was nothing short of outstanding. They showed up at 7 a.m. sharp and worked tirelessly until 7 p.m. both days. Their professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail blew me away. These guys worked their asses off and it shows. The finished roof gave my historic home a brand-new look. It's honestly the best-looking roof on the street - hands down. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire Nor'Easter again. Rob is deeply knowledgeable, detail-oriented (as picky as I am!), and committed to doing things right the first time. That kind of one-on-one service is rare and it's what makes Nor'Easter exceptional. Oh, and the cleanup was immaculate! You'd never know they were here! If you're looking for quality, integrity, and craftsmanship then you need look no further. This is the roofing company you want.

The workers who came to the site were efficient and respectful. The site manager did a good job. He listened to my concerns about a few things I noticed (ex a spot of rot on the fascia and molding) and addressed them. He even emailed me yesterday, months after the job to let me know that he might have found someone who can match the old crown molding under the roof. I recommend him to anyone I know who's looking into having their roof done.

From my first interaction I was impressed. I submitted a request via their website and it was responded to later in the same day. I was actually expecting to get blown off as I had already tried two other "local" roofing contractors who were "not taking on any new repair customers". If I wanted a whole new roof they would have time for me. I had a new bathroom built two years ago and that contractor put 4 new pipes up through my roof. He obviously wasn't a professional roofer and did not sub this part of the job out to one. Unfortunately the mods he made were leaking. I could not afford to go cheap with this fix. I wanted a real pro and someone with a solid rep. I found one with RR. I have also been burned with contractors asking for big deposits and then either taking forever to show up of walking with my money. Jesse was straight from the start. He did not even ask for a deposit for this "small" job. He guaranteed his work for 10 years. All this was still not enough for my wife who insisted I get references and thoroughly vet RR. I looked them up on the BBB and they were rated an A+. They have been on the BBB site for over 3 years and had 0 complaints. They also have been in business for 14 years. Jesse asked that I confirm his quote and he would get me on the schedule. A few weeks later he came to do the job and he provided me with a great online view with pictures of before, during and after shots. I am very impressed with RR and Jesse. He communicated well from start to finish and did a fabulous job.

Towards the end of last year, I had several companies come out and quote for a full roof…read morereplacement. Golden Group gave me the best feeling about the job from the initial discussion. Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. A couple of weeks in and we've had snow, rain and strong winds. Everything is still perfect. I can highly recommend Mikel and Jurgan from Golden Group, Hudson.
