Even when staff may not always know the answer they are more than willing to find someone who can help get the right answer. The store has a family vibe to it which is always welcoming. 10/10. My husband and I…read morehave shopped here for years and always enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere; especially the hardworking young staff, who have always impressed me with their dedication. Unfortunately, since the arrival of the current manager Jen, the environment has changed dramatically. On more than one visit, I witnessed young employees being spoken to harshly and reprimanded in front of customers. I have seen staff reduced to tears, and one young cashier told me she was terrified of making even the smallest mistake. The atmosphere now feels tense, uncomfortable, and frankly toxic. These teens and young adults are polite, diligent, and clearly care about the business, and it is heartbreaking to see them treated this way. My friends, neighbours, and husband have noticed the same shift, and several of us have decided to shop elsewhere. My only regret is not seeing those wonderful young employees anymore. I will not return until the manager learns how to treat staff with respect, or until management takes action. A business that allows its employees to be bullied will lose the trust of the community--if it hasn't already.

    Absolutely horrible. I called 5x about 3 weeks in advanced to make sure that i was to pick my truck…read moreup at my preferred destination, and drop it off at my local uhaul. 7:30am rolls around and i get my truck. The girl at the desk googles local uhauls for me in my drop-off area and finds the closest location. She then writes it on my contract and sends me on my way telling me " you can drop these off at any uhaul really" 12 1/2 hours later i finish my 5-stop move and drive to my location to find out its closed. I call the number provided and they straight up tell me "theres nothing we can do about it and you're going to just have to drive 40 minutes to our other location to drop it off. Zero help. Zero understanding. Zero customer service skills. I then ask for a supervisor and she says the same thing. She also says the customer support line opens at 9am. I had to have my truck back by 7am or i would be charged so i tell her this and she says" meh i think they'll work with you i guess. So i force her to change my drop-off time to 10am and have my location changed. I drop it off at 9:30am the next morning and instead of filling the gas up to the 7/8+ mark line, i filled it all the way up cause thats the kind of guy i am. I had filled this the night before, but because i had to drive the truck BACK to my house and THEN to the new drop-off, the lady says to me " oh it looks like its a tad under" and charges me for the difference in gas. Once finished up i called customer service and was irresponsibly tossed around from department to department and hung up on, i finally got someone who in 3 mintues was able to set me up with an email from the GM of scheduling within 1 to 2 days. Still Pending. This has been the worst customer experience i have ever had. I highly advise choosing another service as i have not even been compensated for my troubles. I used to be a mover so i know how to make sure scheduling is appropriately communicated and uhaul just did not care. Never using them again and highly recommend anyone thinking of using them just rents a truck from another company.

Lots of available staff, but only one greeted customers, no one seemed interested in serving the growing line of waiting folks. I found it odd but didn't pay much mind. Then I encountered unacceptable customer service from one of the staff members. This was the first time I had issues with my hitch and proceeded to ask this employee about the policy and my options. He was extremely rude. His attitude, tone, and body language were all unacceptable, I actually had to remind this person that I am the customer, that I had questions, and it is his responsibility to answer those queries. Begrudgingly, after telling me he had OTHER THINGS TO DO, he slammed the things he had in his hands down, folded his arms, rolled his eyes as I proceeded to ask my questions. Furious, if it wasn't for the fact that I paid for the rental, I would have walked out. Jamal, the manager wasn't there; but he certainly needs to coach his staff to basic customer service. The staff who interact with customers need to be pleasant, patient and responsive to the customer's needs. If an employee cannot display common courtesy, that person needs to remain in a back room with no customer interface. Horrible experience - would never go back here!

    Definitely the last time that I ever do any business with this location. The worst customer…read moreservice!!!!! The assistant manager didn't give any explanation for the truck being returned late after business hours. There isn't a drop box for truck key, the rest of the staff is extremely rude. They tend to support their assistant manager, I explained to the associate the return policy after hours wasn't mentioned at all. Truck insurance is only for uhual truck accidents not 3rd party. For being late without the truck key dropped off, they charged for 2 days rental. I highly don't recommend this location.

    Do not use U-Haul. Use literally any of their competitors…read more Went in on Sunday to rent a pickup truck to get a bed. They had 'technical problems' and we waited over an hour to simply receive the keys, and were directed outside. Wait outside for about ten minutes....no sign of the gentleman we are supposed to speak with to get the vehicle. Eventually I wander over into the shop area and see someone sitting on their phone. He takes the key and goes around the corner....and we wait another 15. So we get the truck, get the bed, drop it off, add $5 of fuel just to be on the safe side, and drop the truck off after a total trip of 19.6 km of the estimated 20. The same guy who got us the truck eventually makes his way over. Verifies no damage, the kilometers were less than the estimate, and the gas is at (or above) the level we received it. He takes a while using his computer and then tells me that a receipt is not available, but all is well, and we leave. The next day I get a call from U Haul asking rather pointedly when I plan on returning the truck. I reply that it was dropped off, after only about an hour of use. The person on the other end says 'oh ok', and we are done/ The day after I get an emailed receipt. The rocket scientists at U-haul had rented this truck out to another customer, and added that use to my bill. So the kilometers go from 20 that we actually used to nearly 100. A gas surcharge of $85 is added...and to top it off, they completely added another trailer we never used. Needless to say, I was livid. Called in, got bounced around between the store, head office, and the store again (getting 'cut off' once). Eventually after 4 hours and great frustration they agree to charge me only what I actually used the truck for. How generous! Considering the mountain of errors and great inconvenience a discount might have been added. We have used Uhaul for all our past moves because this location has always been slightly close to us, but going forward we will use any of their competitors. Ill buy a mule and haul everything piecemeal before using these clowns again
