If you haven't made your way to Price Rite, you are missing out on some serious savings and an…read moreinteresting combination of grocery finds! Be aware Price Rite is NOT for the brand conscious, however you WILL find all the stables with a major focus on fresh fruit and vegetables and at considerably reduced price compared to Weis. No bells, no whistles this store will meet your needs and in some ways exceed on some items. For example: If you are looking for cannoli shells, and the cheese to fill them Price Rite is your store. If you like Hispanic foods/cuts of meat you can find them here as well. No fresh fish....all is frozen and in individual servings. Over all....I save a considerable amount of money making this store my Big Shop store on average I spend 150.00 for a household of three and with the exception of bread and milk can feed the household on what I purchase for a month. I still need to hit Walmart for pet supplies and storage bags because Price Rite has a limited offering. Down side, be prepared to bag your own groceries and the bagging area can get congested but it does clear up quickly. While you can purchase bags from the store .10 each, nice quality, I bought nice cloth bags from TSC and Ace hardware at 1.99 each and they work wonderfully. Check it out...I think you will be surprised! Edit 9/9/12....I found Chines 5 Spice! It's on an end cap with the Badia spices. For thos of you who don't know expect a ginger/cinnamon flavor sweet in nature. I bet it would be good in cookies....oatmeal raisin, I think. Edit 9/17/12....They have a "roll away", stand with seafood now. Maybe they read my post. hehehehehe The little gal who was manning it was friendly and talkative to the customers she was serving. They are expanding! Sometime in October they should have the finishing touches done including shelving and merchandise. Already I can see their produce section is expanding (see pictures). I have a complaint :/.....for the most part the produce is the freshest with the best prices of any of the local Weis/Walmart stores in York. Giant is EXCELLENT with the biggest $$ so I'll leave them out of the equation. *BUT*....I have seen the quality slack since this renovation has started. Today I noticed the cucumbers were withered and dented....I could go to Weis/Walmart for THAT. Please Price Rite....don't lose touch with quality during this critical time and don't make me sorry for giving you a good review, *****There was a disturbing review left by someone who is clearly intimidated by other cultures....to HIM, grow up Mr Jackwagon! I have been shopping there for 2 years without incident.******

Price Rite has some pros and cons about it. Some of the pros are the low prices on select items…read moresuch as Nathan's Famous Franks or some of their frozen items. Some of the cons are they seem to feel no responsibility to price items correctly so you wind up with scan errors, no prices for items or items in the wrong location. I would not give them a one star except that the price issues are an everyday thing and when you discuss it with management, they don't see that it is a problem. In fact, they do not believe it is an issue that needs fixed (based on my last trip there at approx. 7PM on September 29, 2014). If you don't mind the headaches of not knowing what you will be paying for your merchandise, shop here. If you want to shop at a store where the people care, shop elsewhere (my experience).

Festive Boards -- Joy & Team…read more Joy and the entire Festive Boards team added so much heart and care to our wedding day. From the very beginning, they treated us with genuine kindness and made us feel so supported throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, their coordination, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary. The food was incredible--not only delicious but clearly made with pride and creativity. Our guests are still talking about it. But beyond the food, it was the service that made the biggest impact. Joy's team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and they did it all with such a joyful and uplifting spirit. We couldn't be more grateful. Festive Boards helped make our wedding feel effortless, beautiful, and filled with love. We wholeheartedly recommend Joy and her team to anyone wanting a catering experience that is both exceptional and deeply caring.

I was initially so impressed by The Festive Board when I met Ed and his wife at a bridal expo over…read morea year before my wedding. They seemed like the full package -- food, dessert, bartenders, mixers, garnishes, and even a day-of/month-of coordinator who would help with vendors and décor. That service was a huge reason I chose them. Leading up to the wedding, communication and planning went smoothly. However, things began to unravel the day before. My coordinator, Taylor, was supposed to attend our rehearsal, which had been confirmed weeks in advance, but she never showed. Thankfully, my venue coordinator stepped in. Taylor apologized and was ready to help the next day, but unfortunately, many other issues followed. On the wedding day itself, the appetizers were served cold, the grazing table was disappointing (boxed crackers and Tostitos), and we ran out of mixers provided by the caterer. The bar didn't even have water available for guests when one overheated -- only lemonade. Servers were unprofessional at times, including one who rested a bussing tub on a guest's chair and spilled dishes and food. The buffet food was lukewarm at best. The Kona beef was dried out, and the quality overall reminded me of frozen dinners. Shockingly, one server dropped the serving spoon for the mac and cheese and continued serving guests with his gloved hand until a groomsman stopped him. Dessert service was equally mishandled -- only one of the two sheet cakes was cut and served, meaning guests who wanted vanilla never got any. The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes I ordered (with signage) were mixed up and served without any allergy notice after the sign was removed. I never signed the "satisfaction" form I was handed at the end of the night because so many responsibilities and expectations were not met -- and no one from The Festive Board has reached out since to follow up. I truly wish this had been a positive experience, but The Festive Board fell short in food quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. My wedding day was still wonderful thanks to our family, friends, and venue team, but I would not recommend this caterer based on how many things went wrong that could have been avoided.

Well we will make sure to go to the competition down the street then next time we want subs. The guy seemed to be more interested in taking care of an order of a customer that was not currently there but was more focused on making the sub go that other order perfect while basically ignoring our subs. We both had to repeat ourselves several times with what we wanted as the guy kept asking , including for the Mike's Way as I asked for it to include light on the oregano and my husband asked for light on the oil and this seemed to baffle the guy. Well we get home and my #8 club sub had no tomatoes at all on the entire sub, we both got giant sized, and I am pretty sure he also missed putting the oil and stuff on my sub and we both only had one strip of bacon on both of our giant subs. My husband had a #9 roast beef sub and said it was just okay. But yet that other order that the guy was definitely more focused on I'm sure was perfect as this is where the guy's focus was instead of paying attention to the customers standing right in front of him. Again we will not be coming back and will be going to Jimmy John's down the street where we have gotten good subs and service. The only thing I will say is the place seemed clean and the temperature inside was comfortable. Sorry, your staff's fault
