The ribeye was on the thinner side with very little marbling and was pre-packaged on styrofoam, which was unusual I thought (used to butcher paper, maybe just me - not a huge deal just seemed like something a small grocery store would do). My favorite products that they produce are pepper stick and pepper bologna. I'm not a fan of sweet Pennsylvania baloney and this pepper stick/pepper baloney is absolutely delicious. It's about as spicy as a Slim Jim, but not all greasy and full of fat. I've never had a deer processed here, but it is evident that they do a very good volume of total Deer Processing. What I do is bring in venison, in this year 25 pounds, and they convert it into pepper stick both in the bologna form and in the stick form. There is a nice large refrigerated display case right inside the entrance door featuring beef, pork, chicken, cheese, sauerkraut, and other products that they produce. I especially enjoy the beef jerky from this selection. I can recommend this Butcher Shop/Deer Processing business with no reservations.
