I desperately needed an oil change. I really pushed the envelope this time. Mostly due to lack of planning, but also because I was unable to take it to one of the oil change businesses offering coupons; and didn't want to pay a huge amount. Back story: I had to call around to area Buick dealerships to work on my truckie, because during my last oil change at Art Moran, the cap was put on way too tight - then stripped at Midas, trying to remove it. I felt stuck and had to return to an actual dealership for service because they would have the part that was stripped. After calling a few locations, I called LaFontaine and was able to get in same-day. Not sure why I didn't think of them 1st as I could sing their commercial jingle; it's so familiar to me. I arrived and spoke with Alan at the dealership, who provided me with a quote. I then noticed that I had left my wallet at home. Alan was very friendly and understanding and proceeded to service the car while I figured out a way to pay without going all the way home to retrieve my wallet. While in the waiting room, which has a coffee station and lots of seating, I received a text message that notified me that service was beginning on my car. I then received another text message with a link to a video of my car inspection. I thought this was a great touch. I visited the restroom, which was clean. The dealership does a great job with overall cleanliness. I decided to try one of the mobile pay apps instead of going home to retrieve my wallet. Alan helped me to know avail. We tried Google Pay, which they take, but couldn't figure out how to use it. After Alan spoke with his supervisor about my issue, he allowed me to go home and get my wallet and call him with the credit card number. I thought it was really great of the guys to do that. The oil change with the replacement of the stripped part ended up costing $100. Even though I feel like that's extremely high for an oil change, I happily paid it because of the professionalism and top-notch service of the LaFontaine staff. read more

My roommate didn't even get to pick a car he liked. It all happened so fast and they knew he couldn't get financing anywhere else so they pull up in a car that had nothing, no key fob, no power windows, stains all on the ceiling and said they don't believe in car fax. He signed for 17 grand! They had him set up no fault which is his fault too he should have got full coverage. Anyways it was totaled several months later and they took off. So now he's going to be paying off a 17 thousand dollar car that was worth 5 grand for 5 years. I feel so bad for him. They should never have started him with a car that cost so much either way. I was told my last lease payment on my previous lease would be payed by dealership. 2 months later I received a bill from GM financial saying the dealership did not make the payment. I turned in my keys and my previously leased vehicle was sold by Superior while I technically still owned the vehicle. My salesperson asked for $400.00 CASH to get me a better deal. She refused to provide a receipt for the $400.00. Is this some kind of scam? I visited the dealership trying to resolve the issues and I was asked to leave or they would call the police. I took my car in to have the rotors done and My SEATS were way back (I'm short and so are my passengers) both side mirrors were moved as well as the rearview mirror my radio station was on 9.55 the heat was off and the air was on, someone else key pad was in my car the lighter/charger port was up and. I just got the car up until a few days ago I've literally been in and out for work, I still don't know about all the buttons or gotten the seat comfortable for me. I only received rotors now I'm thinking why was it necessary for all the other changes to be made! I don't think that, that was apart of the service? Worked with a salesperson named Frankie that misled me on a too good to be true deal and I fell for it. Looking to turn in an existing lease about 8 payments early and get into a new lease of a truck. After talking to this guy about five times and him ensuring that this deal was legit I settled on making the 70 mile round trip drive to pick up my new car. Sadly I stopped in another dealership that I had an appointment with and informed them of this great deal I was going to get. Turns out this great deal was a lie. The dealership I happened to visit showed me the math and it would never work out. I called this dealership's sales manager to validate the price and stipulations. He didn't get back to me for several hours but upon doing so he also validated that the price didn't even account for my current lease! It was actually $60/ month than what the salesman stated and not even the best deal! Then Frankie has the audacity to call me the next morning, AFTER arranging a deal with another dealership for a truck he didn't have on his lot to swap for it, to tell me that he was looking out for my best interests and that he didn't mislead me AND that I made him look bad in front of everyone there! Maybe next time be upfront and honest instead of just trying to lure me into your den of lies, bub! Will never recommend or solicit this dealership ever again for potential sales. This is one of the worst dealerships to ever lease or buy a car from, I highly recommend seeing another dealership. I have leased two Buick Regal's from this dealership, one after the other. When I returned my first lease and grabbed the second lease, the dealer Tony Jaber did not give me a second key with the car and said he would send the second key in the mail. About a month and a half later I receive a letter from ally bank billing me for a giant dent on the passenger side door. So, I call ally bank and told them that there was no such damage when I returned the car, so they call the dealership then call me back. Apparently they damaged the car then kept it in their lot for a month before calling out an ally bank inspector, also not mentioning that they did the damage and kept it there for a month. Now two years have passed and it's time to return the second lease. Tony Jaber is still a dealer at that location and over the pass two years I have been trying to get the second key for my lease, but no one was willing to help nor call me back. When I returned the second lease I went straight to Tony and let him know that I still did not receive the second key, he told me that it was no problem and I would not get billed for them. Two weeks later I got billed for them. Over the past month I've been talking to GM FINANCIAL to resolve this situation, but they need approval and recognition from the dealership to remove the payment, so I go down to the dealership to give Tony all the paperwork and information he needs to give them and he informs me that he is going to call and get it taken care of. Another two weeks later I receive another bill from GM FINANCIAL for the keys, Tony did nothing to help even after I've have been calling and getting everything he needs, as well as coming down to the dealership for his mistake. Now he doesn't answer my voice mails or give me a call back. So, I decided to talk to the manager Tanya and left her a voicemail. I receive a call back and explain the situation to her. She says that I am valued customer and wants to help and that she is going to be taking care of it and will give me a follow up call that day. I did not receive a follow up call. I have left FOUR voice mails for Tanya, none have been answered. Now I am stuck with a bill to pay because of there mistake and negligence. The dealer Tony Jaber and manager Tanya have not done absolutely nothing to help. Not to mention Tony is extremely rude. Buyer BEWARE. I've purchased several vehicles and equipment online and this is by far the worst experience ever. My first email with Dan Alef, a sales manager, had 3 specific questions on an 2018 Audi Q7 (with 7500 mi) I ended up buying for $53k. Was the car owned by a smoker? What condition is the exterior body in & has there been damage? Do you have 2 keys to the car? Answers- never smoked in, body is perfect with no road rash, yes I have 2 sets of keys. After having the car delivered half way across the country and Superior having been paid here is the truth: 1-the car was smoked in and actually turned out was purchased as a rental/lease car from a Canadian company and has a km speedometer that cannot be converted- and YES smoked in. 2- the front right of the car had body repair and paint work done- never disclosed. 3- I was lied to on a regular basis that Dan was sending the 2nd key (cost is $550 for new); Dan never had two keys, had me provide him a quote from a local dealer so they could send me a check. The check is on its way...the office girls are sending it...one after the other since June 19. Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy working with people where there is absolutely no integrity. Once I owned the car, Dan never returned a phone call or email- all conversations were by phone when he answered because he thought he had a new victim to sell to. This company claims to sell all over the country. I was sent 2 temporary registration tags as the "office girls" (as I was told) could not figure out how to send me a title that could be accepted by my DMV. I ended up being denied by the local DMV as the first title was filled out and signed totally wrong and what also appeared to be by the same person representing the leasing company and Superior on the same transactions. It took just over two months and a ton of my time getting this resolved. When I did get the license plates, I got to pay even more to fix the stripped license plate bracket from Superior putting on their temp license advertisement. Just another unwelcome surprise. I rarely write reviews, but this was so bad of a transaction I couldn't restrain and don't want to see anyone else get sucked in for the same experience. I wouldn't buy a $2.00 dollar car from Superior knowing what your experience will be and once you own it, you're on your own. The only person that seemed to have any integrity was the finance manager Floyd D. In the end he went silent too after being followed up on a half dozen times on the car key check he was helping to facilitate. It was always, I'll check and get back, it should have been sent out...off to the black hole of no return, no follow up and never do what you say you'll do. I honestly think Floyd wanted to help and was shut down by the company machine. This is a nut shell compared to the amount of time wasted and frustration experienced. Most everything that was represented to me, was either false or now ignored. How hard is it to mail a check for a 2nd key you clearly said you'd send? We can't find the key so give me an Audi dealer proposal and we'll send you a check for it....all talk. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE and you may find honesty, integrity and a positive experience but not at Superior Buick GMC. read more

This was absolutely the worse car buying experience of my life. I'm new to this dealership , but they had the 2016 Terrain I wanted so I really tried to make a deal. The dealership seem to be in flux. I could not determine who's in charge. My salesman was new to the dealership but not to selling car, or at least, he said. Therefore, my car deal was brokered by the used car manager. This is where they get really shady. We had a deal , WRITTEN ON PAPER, a purchase agreement signed by everyone. I take that agreement/purchase order to my Bank, get the credit approval and the check. I go to pick up the car and the price INCREASED $500 MORE than what was agreed upon. I was shook. For me, it wasn't about the money, it's the principle of it. I mean I had about $1000 in my wallet. But I wasn't giving them anymore than what was written. I don't think they really wanted to sale me the car. I say that because I had left a $100 earnest money deposit and when I told the used car manager I felt as though I was misled, I had my $100 back in literally 2 minutes. Now I'm sure Superior Buick GMC doesn't try to undue all of it's written agreements and purchase order for everyone, but rest assured, I'll never set a foot on their dealership property again. read more

This was the worst dealership experience of my life. The salesman that I worked with, Abe, seemed like he was really new. We asked him for specific features in our vehicle and he told us that the one we leased had them. Not two days after taking delivery of the vehicle we notice that it did not have one of the features. We called him frustrated with the situation and he said he's call us back. After multiple calls to him and the sales manager, Dan, it was apperant they were avoiding our calls. It wasn't until we left a message saying we'd be coming in that we received a response from Dan. He told us that he'd call us back in the following Monday. He wouldn't return my phone call after they over charged me for work I was in need of being done over which involved my engine being taken out and them having to give me a loaner. Extremely mad right now, set up an appointment for the Buick 24 hour test drive for today 11/10/16 at 5:30 pm. I leave work early and ran right over to the dealership. I get there and the sales person was not there, so another salesman asks if I need help and I tell him why I'm there. He says ok, give me a second. He comes back and says ok I need your drivers license and proof of insurance, then has me fill out some paperwork. About two minutes later he tells me to come to the finance office ( I'm thinking that they are prepping the car). When I get to the finance office the finance manager asks if I'm interested in buying or leasing the 2017 Lacrosse. I told him that I'm not quite ready to purchase yet, just shopping around. He gives me a puzzled look and just at that moment, I get an alert on my phone that I have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I'm instantly shocked and pissed off. He says oh they didn't tell you that you had to be approved to purchase the vehicle. ABSOLUTELY NOT. So I left work early and got an inquiry on my credit and the only thing they offered me was a letter to send to the credit bureau's to remove the inquiry. Well, I enjoy my Buick Encore. My last experience with Superior Buick GMC in Dearborn leaves much to be desired. My engine light came on, car has 26,600 miles and is still under warranty, with car loaner, so I can get home without using their shuttle service...great...except my insurance cert aka POI had expired four days earlier. No mention of needing this for the loaner car. Fine. It is the arrogance and rudeness that annoyed me most. "You can't get a loaner car." I asked "why?' "you're insurance expired." I said, "I have insurance, the POI is just expired". "You can't get a loaner car" I asked for a ride home so I could get a current POI, and drive the driver back. "we close in ten minutes" i said you close in two hours and ten minutes, at 8 pm. "Well, I leave at 6 pm" Can you email the POI to me?" "yes, but not in ten minutes. I can send it from home in 20 minutes." "Sorry, I'll be off in ten minutes". Can't wait an ten extra minutes to drive me two miles home. So much for the BS Buick warranty and kind customer service. I drove an hour to get there. I will never return, not because of the POI expired, but because of the way the car loan clerk acted. Worked with Jacob Saboo for 1 week straight, got a text of the deal so I made the 75 mile trip only to be told the stated price for my vehicle trade in even after being sent numerous pictures suddenly dropped in half, and the price of the vehicle I was purchasing increased by $1500 even though the vehicle we were going to purchase only had 21k and the tires were bald.
