DO NOT do business here. The owner is unprofessional and rude. I booked an appointment online this morning for a service that wasn't even available! I get a text half hour before my appointment that they are still waiting for the delivery of liquid nitrogen to arrive. I live in Kapolei, I'm leaving more than a half hour before my appointment to get there on time! Who I presumed to be the owner told me that he sent me a text ahead of time...A HALF HOUR ONLY while I was already on my way. I asked him why make the service available to book online if the service isn't available?? He could've easily blocked it out or not taken appointments for that service until it was available. He said there was no appointments made before he went to bed so be still made it available to book even though the service itself was not. He basically blamed everyone else instead of taking responsibility for making a service available that wasn't. It would have been nice to have been offered some type of compensation fr this inconvenience bit of course none was offered. It's not often I have a terrible experience for a service that I wasn't even serviced for. read more

Today was my second time back here. Both times were due to near unbearable pain in either my shoulder and/or neck. Both times I came out with my mobility back and muscle pain gone. First time was with Nelson. He did cupping and some myofascial (?spelling?) stretching. Which helped me regain my mobility to go on my trip. Today I woke up in unbelievable pain so I saw Jamie, a massage therapist, for cupping and a trigger point/Swedish massage. I can't stress enough how amazing her techniques are. She's got great control and the perfect amount of pressure where it's needed, she knows where to go and how to get the job done in the allotted time. Definitely coming back for maintenance and to use the fun machines they got in the shop. Bottom line, if you're an active person and constantly deal with muscle soreness, pain or discomfort come see these specialists. read more

POWER PLATE. I popped into the space to see what was offered here and met Victor as he was using the Power Plate and asked what he was doing! I stood on the plate while he told me about the benefits of whole body vibration that minor athletes like Serena Williams + Mark Whalberg use to activate more muscle fibers + improve circulation and I immediately felt my ears tickle + spaces in between my vertebrae move + crackle. My trainer recommended Jane and I am SO thankful! Jane specializes in Thai sport, deep tissue, and foot reflexology. I've been to Lava Massage Day & Spa and Spa U'ilani because they were rated well on Yelp and I will always choose Jane! The two spas I mentioned clearly spent a lot of time on decorating their space and creating a relaxing vibe, but Jane's massage beats all of that for me. Jane works alone and has a great little space inside Superhuman Health on the corner of Cummins St and Waimanu St (black door on the corner/ground floor). There are other services offered at Superhuman Health (http://superhumanhealthhi.com/services) and so you may hear other clients during your massage. She plays relaxing music and the massage bed is comfortable (I frequently fall asleep). In terms of Covid, both myself and Jane wear a mask for the duration of the massage and the sheets are always replaced between clients. There is a bathroom inside Superhuman Health. I book my deep tissue massage with Jane via Instagram and while I've been in Hawaii, I've gone to see her almost every week in between weight training and hikes. She's very accurate and keeps up a strong pressure throughout the hour or 90 minutes. This place is amazing. Been doing cryo here for a while. Price is good and it does the job. Been in some machines that are tough to stay in, this one is not. Had a massage and some cupping from Jamie today. The massage was amazing. Went in with stiff neck and knots in my upper back. She really worked them out. Not sure I have ever had a masseuse with that much hand strength. It is what they call a "good pain". She constantly checks on you to make sure the pressure is good. The cupping hurts at first but as long as you control your breathing, which Jamie will remind you, the pain will start to go away. Yes I have all the spots on me but it is well worth it. My back feels much better. Will be going back soon for another massage. read more

Jamie is terrific! I have been seeing her twice a week for several months now and I continue to be pleasantly surprised week after week. I have been going for one hour sessions which I have recently increased to 1 1/2 hours. My actions are more proof than words about how I value her time. She goes about her work in a truly professional manner which I admire. Not only is she fully qualified as a massage therapist but she is knowledgable about the body and how a massage can be given therapeuticaly. Other benefits are that she is familiar with different modes of massage such as Swedish, deep tissue, and even the use of cupping therapy. She can apply deep pressure, if that is what you wish, so that you can feel your muscles/joints hurting. Or she can apply much milder pressure which some people would prefer. She will frequentlly ask whether the pressure is too much or too little so that she will remain at your comfort level. It is OK to leave on some clothing for the massage or you can go "au natural". However, she respects your dignity and personal privacy whatever you choose. She will adjust the A/C to your liking. She lets you choose the music you prefer if you do not care for the meditative music that is played. She is friendly and easy to talk to and quite knowledgable about various topics. The location is easy to find right off Ward Aevenue. The buidling and entrance is very visible on the corner of Waimanu and Cummins Sts. What more can one ask for? read more

Jamie without doubt was the best Massage therapist I've had in my 3 years on this island and truly top 4 I've had in my 33 years of living. This means a lot since I get massages frequently because I have chronic pain in my my neck and shoulders. Plus CrossFit and 12 years in the Army takes a toll on the body. Now!!! I could just merely talk about her intuitiveness and ability to really go to your trouble spots and to get to the root of the issue (ha you see what I did there). Anyway she is ultra professional and her natural vibe is that of a friend so you don't feel like some random stranger is touching you. Which makes it hella more easier to relax. She adjust the temperature in the room to your liking. Too often on this island I've frozen while getting a massage. Now let's get to the surprise. Big things come in Lil packages. Now when you see her big guys do do like me and see this cute tiny cool ass lady. Because she packs a punch.
