I waited at the register and Khailee came in soon after obviously upset that I wasn't outside waiting?? Her attitude was dismissive, she knew nothing about the mowers, or about delivery information, and told me all the information was online, where I had looked before I came in. Plain and simple she was not very helpful or even nice. Just bought the same mower from Brim Tractor in Lynden today, where they were very helpful, knew their product, and were nice. Don't recall the names of the colleague I approached May 8th around midday. The young woman could not have been bothered - she's being paid for doing nothing. One of two people in the central service area of the store - when I asked about two products she simply pointed and said outside while barely making eye contact. There were all of five people shopping - she had ample time to ask me if she could assist in finding items I requested. I roamed around outside for ten minutes with no luck. Is unfortunate the friendly colleagues at Ace Hardware suggested I make a trip to TS. In Ace I was greeted and shown to the items I needed and even got extra help at the cash register. I have no problem being a 'do it yourself' shopper. I do have a problem with businesses paying their associates for doing nothing. Second thought TS associates working here are so unmotivated for what they've been hired to do I don't think any amount of training would improve the situation.

That's what I loved about my time in here, I already hate malls and everything that goes along with it, but I needed more winter shoe gear for the upcoming season and the employees leave you alone here to browse in peace. This is also a pretty organized store so it was easy to find sizes. I think this is the cheapest priced place for decent shoes with name brands that are not sold in Payless in Bellingham. I also like this particular store because it has my size of shoe which is size 5 and nearly impossible to finds anywhere. I was able to pick up some lovely black tall boots as well as tan winter waterproof snow boots. They also had a crazy buy one get the second half off sale so that was fun. When I did interact with an employee at check out it was easy peasy, and the cashier was super nice. She literally forbids customers from touching anything, rejecting every single inquiry with a rude "No." It creates an incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. To top it all off, the prices in this disorganized hoard are completely detached from reality. Paying premium prices to be treated with absolute hostility in a messy, empty store is ridiculous. Do not waste your time or money here. Avoid this place at all costs! UPDATE The response from the owner, Chelsea, is an absolute fabrication. Her claim that I was "going through her personal belongings behind the counter" is completely ridiculous and utterly false. The items in question were sitting directly ON TOP of the main sales counter, thrown into a disorganized pile in plain view of anyone entering the shop. If these were truly your "personal, not-for-sale belongings," why on earth were they left piled up on a public retail counter? This is a desperate, made-up excuse to cover up your hostile and completely unprofessional behavior. Furthermore, you did not "politely explain" anything. You repeatedly snapped a single word at me: "NO!" - treating me like a dog that had wandered into your yard rather than a human being and a customer. It is pathetic that instead of taking accountability for your terrible customer service, you choose to invent outright lies to gaslight people.
