The stock in the shop changes regularly so I would reccomend getting something if you see it as it may not be there next time. The shop has now introduced card payments accepted as forms of payment as long as you spend over £5 which is not difficult. The quality of the stock ranges from completely rubbish that actually isn;t even worth a pound to stock that is worth much more, so you have to know what to buy and what to leave.

It is always worth having a look around this shop as the stock is changed often and you never know quite what they will get in next; books, DVDs, cosmetics, pet items, car accessories, stationery, garden stuff, food & various other items. They have recently started to stock Kitchen accessories and some of these are not too bad.

My local Space NK store - I visit fairly regularly to stock up on some of my favourite products…read more This store sells most of the brands you'd expect to see, including Sunday Riley, Tom Ford, Oskia, Diptyque, Living Proof, Oribe and lots more (although they only carry a few select Hourglass products). For anyone unfamiliar with Space NK, it's the closest thing to Sephora we have in the UK and sells a good selection of popular high end makeup, skincare, body and hair products, most individual items costing upwards of £20. Definitely not somewhere to be tempted by if you're on a tight budget! Most of the staff at this store are quite friendly and helpful, although it is often busy and all staff members are usually otherwise occupied. One particular member of staff with short dark hair (I don't know her name) is the only one I have an issue with, as she is never helpful, often loudly gossiping to other staff and always walks away from me when I obviously try to approach her for help! However I haven't seen her in a while so not sure if she still works there. I enjoy browsing some of my favourite blogger-recommended beauty products in person and asking advice when I can grab an assistant when they're not busy, although I wish they gave out samples. I'm reluctant to spend money on many of these non-refundable high end products when I don't even know if they'll work for me. Specific products I make a trip to this store to buy aren't always in stock, so call ahead to avoid disappointment. On my last visit I waited in a queue for 15 minutes just to be told the Nars primer I wanted was out of stock - a bit annoying as I'd been waiting around for so long! If you're making regular purchases, I'd recommend signing up for the free points-based loyalty card, as a £50 spend within 3 months will get you £5 off your next purchase. Overall this can be a fun store to browse, but I prefer to make my purchases online as the product selection is better and I don't have to wait around for someone to eventually serve me!

What was extra nice was the willingness of staff to chat about their region and inquire about life in the USA; or to leave well enough alone. I'm a chatterbox, so to have a longwinded conversation is great as far as I'm concerned. Everything I've ever bought from Oasis, including at this last visit cannot be found anywhere else. There's enough uniqueness to be special without being bizarre and the fit of the clothes is true to USA sizes, which is always helpful. Although this Oasis is way off the beaten track, it's a good find and definitely worth a visit for tourists (and locals) alike. Well appointed organization of the clothes and accessories which are timeless, yet have a fashionable edge. I've shopped the Oasis stores everytime I've been in London and have been pleased with their quality. Everything pretty much lasts & lasts. While their prices are a tad higher than the US competition for fast fashion, there's a major difference in quality and the Oasis designs are so much better overall. The ladies working at this Oasis referred me to http://oasis.andotherbrands.com/ where most of their styles are available online and will send to the USA, oftentimes free shipping and without exorbitant fees ever. Also good to know, no duty to the US!

Poole isn't usually my go-to shopping destination, but I'll often go out of my way to make a trip here. The store is tiny and gets cramped with more than a few visitors, yet is stuffed to the brim with any Lush items you could want, from bubble bars and shower gels to shampoos and henna hair dyes, even at Christmas when there are even more goodies to choose from. This is the only store in the world that features the exclusive (and beautiful) 29 High Street perfume, the perfume that smells exactly like a Lush store in a bottle, as well as some special edition tote bags you won't find anywhere else. They also feature a more extensive collection of perfumes (both solids and liquids) than your regular Lush store. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, a joy to talk to and always surprise me with great new product recommendations and samples. I feel like sometimes there are too many staff members in the shop but it can get busy very quickly. There is also a Lush Spa location next door, one of only a few in the country - I haven't yet been lucky enough to try this out myself but I've heard it's a must-visit if you happen to be in the area! Even though Poole isn't the most stand-out shopping destination this is absolutely worth a trip.

The lines are fairly modern, nothing too high fashion, but aimed at those who want a fairly modern look without going overboard. It is situated right in the centre of town on one of the most busy shopping streets and so it can get quite busy, but the upside is that it is very easy to find and get to.
