Excellent cometics, clothing and household goods as well as gifts. Anything from here is going to be of good quality, and there are classic ranges as well as high fashion. I really feel that Dingles, like Beales, give Bournemouth, in terms of shopping, a bit of class. Bournemouth is looking very tired lately, but stores like this give it some quality and a reminder of it's better days.

The store is situated on several levels and can be accessed by several doors. There are lifts available. the store stocks many branded products and you can usually get all the information you need from the helpful and friendly staff. the store is in Old Christchurch road and parking is a bit of a problem. The nearest is the multistorey which is a good 5 minutes walk away. The store is a great place to get those special, good quality Christmas gifts and has loads of perfume stands. The store is in a great location in the centre of town, so really convenient for browsing or picking up a few things when you're out shopping. Debenhams also offers a great points-based reward card for cosmetics purchases, the Beauty Club Card, giving you a £5 discount for every £167 you spend - there are better reward programs out there but always helpful if you shop here often. The customer service, however, is my main complaint! Most of the time there will be absolutely no-one to be seen at a counter. When I've asked other staff members to help me, even when I know the exact item I want to purchase, they're quite unfriendly and seem like they'd rather be doing literally anything else than serving me and act like my business is a huge hassle and inconvenience to them. Many times I've just gone to buy the same thing in another department store up the road instead! Conversely, when there is someone at the counter, on several occasions I felt like I was being forced into a purchase, as if the staff were completely desperate to get rid of certain products, rather than considering my personal needs or being genuinely helpful. A miserable and stressful shopping experience! Additionally, I would NOT recommend the Benefit Brow Bar at this location! I'd heard so many good things about Benefit and wanted to get my overgrown brows shaped in time for my upcoming holiday, instructing the technician to leave them full with a natural shape, as I only wanted them tidied up. Rather than using the vacant treatment room, she waxed my brows in front of all the customers (and this was quite a busy day) and I noticed a few laughing and sniggering at my discomfort. It was much more painful than any brow waxing I'd ever experienced as she kept waxing the same areas over, and when I looked in the mirror.. nearly all of my brow hairs were gone! Instead of full, luscious brows I was left with two skinny tadpoles and an expression of permanent surprise. I started to cry a little after seeing them and she had the audacity to ask if I wanted to make another appointment! Needless to say I will NEVER go back and had to use so much makeup to make them resemble eyebrows for months afterwards. If you want value for money and a pleasant shopping experience, stay well away! Although Debenhams have a rewards system and sometimes have deals worth browsing in the sales after Christmas, I won't be coming back any time soon. There are other department stores in town selling the same products with far better customer service!

On the first floor you have ample size sections of lingerie and nightwear, womens clothes, footwear and accessories. I went into the store last week and they have a new branded perfume section with perfumes such as gucci etc (i have also noticed they are bringing in other designer brands of clothes to on the website so im sure this will follow instore too) on the ground floor you have homewares (including expensive gorgeous furniture), kids wear and menswear. I would hugely recommend visiting next for great suits for men or women - the quality in my opinion is as good as a designer suits staff are extremely polite and helpful - rated 5/5

The staff are always poilte and well dressed. I find when I go into next it's difficult not to find something I like, apart from the prices. I find the prices of some clothes quite expensive but the quality reflects in the price. The changing rooms in store are spacious and well managed. I like the feature where you can call an assistant if you need something else brought to you. There are four separate till areas so it's easy to get served even in busy periods and there is a small lift for parents with pushchairs or wheelchairs etc.

There are usually small gift packs offered, especially during Christmas & Valentines and a small selection of electrical goods mainly for the hair, but also digital cameras and MP3 players. There is a selection of perfumes behind the payment counter and a small fridge for cold drinks. The staff seem few and there is usually just someone behind the counter to take your money.

The prices at TK maxx stores are great big labels at small prices says the slogan and that is certainly true, but although this isn't the closest branch to my home it is a preferred one and with all the free car parking Castlepoint offers it's a great place to shop. **But try to avoid rush hours.you have been warned.

Upstairs they have home/kitchen section, gorgeous soy and fragrance candles, some mixed books (including cookery), childrens toys and the big menswear section. The home/kitchen area is brilliant - if you are in castlepoint don't go to robert dyas or lakeland for kitchen stuff - i got my great quality baking trays etc from here at a fraction of the price. The menswear section is also good for buying gifts eg designer wallets, cufflinks etc in nice presented boxes. Downstairs they have womens clothes, loungewear, underwear, a huge gorgeous bag section and beauty section. It is definitely worth rummaging through the clothes as i found Sass & Bide jeans hidden away for £39.99 (usually over 150 pounds!). I also like that they have lots of natural/organic beauty stuff in there quite often such as linden leaves, this works, balance me etc. They have a great range of fragrances too. Even though it is not the largest store is does have lots of the sections you would expect to see; cosmetics, hair treatments (shampoos, dye etc) mouth hygiene, bathroom supplies, men's products, baby goods, household goods, sweets, gifts and a small area for off the shelve medication, this store does not have a pharmacy. There are newspapers and a few magazines available, batteries and stamps and a small selection of the upper market perfumes.
