My own bridal dress was not expensive at all, and if I hadn't found that I would consider a secondhand one. Why spend a fortune on one day, when you can use the money for a great honeymoon, or towards a house?

There book section is a good size, based on the shop, and there is a good selection of handbags for sale, some new some secondhand. There is a reasonable sized ladies section and a small mens. Being the PDSA they also stock items for your pets; leads, bowls, treats, toys etc. There is usually only 1 member of staff on but they are friendly and helpful and the shop is clean and tidy.
