It does all the papers and magazines, plus crisps and sweets and drinks, but also has a gift section. This morning we saw some glass blown paperweights, they do mugs, candles, and a varying consignment. Also, they do the mandatory post cards, and fishing nets. Used a lot by smokers and people who live over the shops, this is a very useful shop on the High St.

You can get anything in here from papers to milk, bread to sticks of rock. Prices are reasonable for this type of shop and it seems to always have customers. They do stock a lovely range of gifts such as novelty lighters and ornaments some of which I think make the best gifts ever. The store benefits from the town's car parks and its staff are always on the ball and happy to help.

It stocks the usual stationery, books, cards, writing paraphernaelia, and educatiobal, travel, cookery books. Theres also a good stock of fiction and non fiction, though I feel the kids books are a bit limited in authors. This year the Post Office was moved into here! The worst shop to choose! Not only is there all the traffic from W H Smith, but the poor customers wanting the post office have to struggle to the back. Recipe for a nightmare, The Post Office used to occupy a listed building further down on the High St, much more centrally located. I would rather go to another Post Office than use this!

Saves on having to travel up to the depo or hold up the queue on the bus in the rush hour! Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially recently when i'd had to have crutches for a while and haven't been able to carry anything!
