To get a stamp you have to spend over £15. I went into the shop today and spent £32.98. When I was given one stamp I asked for another, seeing as I had bought two lots of £15. This was refused, and the manageress pointed out that one had to spend over £15 in one transaction to get a stamp no matter how much one bought. I suggested that I return half my goods and then re-buy them to gain my other stamp. The manageress told me that I would be abusing the shop's loyalty scheme, that all their other customers were happy with this scheme and I would be exploiting their discount service. I repeated to her that she had just accused me of "abuse" and "exploitation". She repeated that all their other customers were happy with this scheme. As it was, I did not have £30 of eligible purchases as £3.50 of my purchases were of a sales nature. Regardless of this, the manager's attitude was shockingly rude, condescending and dismissive. I will NEVER shop here again. Having researched Ken Bromley Art Supplies on-line (with free delivery), I could have saved myself over £6. Don't buy from this shop if you want a good, positive and rewarding customer service experience and wanted to feel valued as a customer.
